sent on 28 Maggio 2025 Pros: Lightness, Sharpness, Focal Range, Stabilizer Cons: Autofocus slowness at the first shot, perhaps the brightness not very high Opinion: I purchased this lens for my XE2-S to complete the kit (XF 18-55, XF 27). I was skeptical because I was disappointed in the past by zooms (mainly vintage). After trying it I declare myself very satisfied, it is also perfect for my "small" camera body that is not weighed down or unbalanced. The autofocus works perfectly even in low light, it's just a bit slow on the first shot. The stabilizer does a great job and you can photograph with peace of mind without risking blurred photos, at least during the day. It is judged to be not very bright, but for daytime and even evening use, both the sensitivity of the sensor and the stabilizer easily compensate for this aspect. Really recommended especially for light camera bodies.
sent on 10 Maggio 2023 Pros: Weight, price, image quality. Cons: Finish. Opinion: Purchased a few days ago from the few shots taken, it generated a positive impression on me. Considering weight, features, quality and price I think it is a valid companion to circulate together with the 15-45. The demonstration that in reality you do not need so much money to get a noteworthy image quality. Surely there is better but you must be willing to spend 2 to 3 times more. For me honestly not worth it.
sent on 07 Gennaio 2023 Pros: Lightweight, low price, compact, decent sharpness, stabilized. Cons: Nothing. Opinion: It is a zoom to always carry in your bag given the very small size and weight. Of course it cannot be compared to lenses of the same higher range focal length, but for the use for which it was designed it is a very valid lens. The stabilization works pretty well and the autofocus doesn't miss a beat, at least in my short experience of a month. I find it great for those situations in which you either have a 300 mm equivalent or do not take the picture; In fact I bought it for this reason in addition to the fact that I could use it for landscapes.
sent on 27 Agosto 2022 Pros: Lightweight, good sharpness, value for money Cons: If you accept it for what it is and for what it costs (both new and used where it maintains a good rating), practically nothing Opinion: Those who buy it know what they do and therefore accept the joys and sorrows of this canvas. Despite everything good sharpness, very light optics so (as preceded me) practically pocket-sized, a bit dark, but you can not have everything and in any case it is a stabilized optics. Of course the diaphragm ring is missing (so dear to Fujifilm users and also to me), to manage the stabilization you need to enter the menu, the responsiveness of the AF-S is not always perfect (but perhaps it also depends on my X-T2), for astrophotography I do not see it very suitable, but all in all, for the landscape and / or reportage I see it satisfactory. I also made several portraits and I must say that I was satisfied (maybe it's me who is satisfied?). However I went back I would definitely buy it again.
sent on 28 Luglio 2021 Pros: Light, sharp, stabilized, excellent value for money Cons: For what was designed nothing. Opinion: We know it when we buy it that it is a dark optics and that probably at 230 mm drops a little in performance but nothing particularly serious. With its 345 mm equivalents it is a voyeur optics, in many surrounding it allows you to seize unexpected moments of life, on more than one occasion it saved my service, having left the heavy artillery at home. Because this is a really pocket optics, which is certainly plastic but which manages to amaze in terms of general yield, it is what you do not expect from 120 euros of optics bought used online, money that you thought was thrown away but that perhaps are among the best spent ever. If it lasted even just three years I do first to buy another one without worries.
sent on 27 Luglio 2021 Pros: Lightweight, exceptional value for money, quality plastic Cons: Af in low light Opinion: I admit to having been skeptical: then a friend made me try it and I began to change my mind to the point of buying it: I specify that my kit was exclusively composed of fixed bright optics so you can imagine .... Economic optics that offers enormous satisfaction and creativity, combined with the 16-50, close relative, forms a winning combination with a neglitry weight ideal for travel, you just have to be aware of the brightness limits, but it is not a big problem because the stabilizer is effective: excellent for landscapes and to take with you without major weight and bulk commitments , for those shots that are normally lost because you leave the kit at home: instead in a small bag with 900g there are the XE3, the 16-50 and the 55-230! And that quality definitely superior to the cheap equivalents of other brands
sent on 19 Maggio 2020 Pros: Quality of image in relation to the offer of competition for the price range. Lightness. Cons: Very dark. It's an XC, a lot of plastic and it lacks the diaphragms selector. Opinion: Arriving from zoom kits from other builders I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the image. The sharpness drops significantly, moving towards 230 mm, while remaining at excellent levels. It is practically unusable indoors because it is too dark, but when used outdoors with daylight it can offer satisfaction. It is located at great price (also new). Unfortunately fuji alternatives are very expensive, so it's the only choice if you're on a tight budget.
sent on 07 Gennaio 2020 Pros: optical quality in relation to price - lightness compared to the focal Cons: lack of the diaphragm diaphragm diaphragm - breath of air -- dark -- autofocus Opinion: It is true that with little expense you take home a zoom tele with optical quality of respect, but you have to be aware of the compromises that you go to meet. Inside at 230mm does not focus! Aside from focusing manually, you can use the trick to focus at 50mm and then zoom in: usually (not always) it manages to get the fire right. Otherwise endless hunting, erroneous focus, impossible focus: for close-ups in the interior I would say that is not the right goal. I count on the outdoors, but also to shoot safaris and birds in flight you need good autofocus performance. In addition, it puffs air from the viewfinder (directly into the eye) when zooming out and forces you to use the bad front wheel (X-T30) if you want to adjust the diaphragm.
sent on 01 Ottobre 2019 Pros: Lightness, sharpness, focal excursion. Cons: Sense of fragility, but due more than anything to lightness. Opinion: I bought this lens for a few months and I have to say that it is a lot of fun. Paid only .150 new. For those who do not want to spend much and have a very good zoom optics, this is the right choice. Especially for those who don't have this type of photo as a priority. The f6.7 is not a problem by raising the iso, now most mirrorless keeps the noise well at least up to 6400. I took some pictures of flowers with the wind moving them and they came out sharp thanks to the stabilization. I also really like blurry, certainly not at the level of other zooms, but much more expensive. Recommended.
sent on 09 Agosto 2019 Pros: Lightness, sharpness, stabilizer, fantastic value for money Cons: Lack of diaphragm diaphragms Opinion: I can only spend positive words for this economic objective, but with surprising results. The build quality, although almost all plastic, is on high levels, as always in the house Fuji.Ne certainly benefits the weight, really small, does not even seem to have in hand a focal lens equivalent of 345mm. The sharpness is great, in line with other more ephaly ephaled Fuji lenses, even at full-opening it offers more than acceptable results and a pleasant blur. The stabilizer allows you to shoot up to 1/80-1/60 even at the maximum range of 230 mm. If you do not want to spend too much, maybe for those like me who make tele a sporadic use, it is an absolutely recommended goal, used species that is about 150 euros. Rating 9.5/10.
sent on 06 Agosto 2019 Pros: Weight, stabilization, compactness, handling, price, sharpness, supplied lampshade, autofocus. Cons: Diaphragm selectable only by camera, a little too plastic (but then it would be heavier), relatively dark. Opinion: I'm using it with my son's X-T1, which paid him off at 149 euros. I was surprised by the speed and precision of the AF in good light conditions while in the dark or with little light it struggles a little and it is preferable to sevelare by hand. Even for close-up the hand sealing is better than the automatic one, at least on the X-T1. Excellent stabilization: I made perfectly focused and sharp shots at maximum focal (230 mm. equivalent to about 350 mm. on f.f.) freehand with crazy times of 1/52 degrees, 1/46 degrees and even 1/42 degrees, but normally you get good freehand photos with crazy times of 1/52 degrees, 1/46 degrees and even 1/42 degrees, but normally you get good freehand photos with crazy times of 1/52 degrees, 1/46 degrees and even 1/42 degrees, but normally you get good freehand photos with crazy times of 1/52 degrees, 1/46 degrees and even 1/42 degrees, but normally you get good freehand photos with crazy times of 1/52 degrees, 1/46 degrees and even 1/42 degrees, but normally you get good freehand photos with crazy times of 1/52 degrees, 1/46 degrees and even 1/42 degrees, but normally you get good freehand photos with crazy times of 1/52 up to 1/125 degrees without having to hold your breath. The yield, in terms of sharpness is very good, especially from f. 8 to f. 16 while at T.A. I could notice a slight drop of light at the edges of the frame. Maybe it's a little dark, but it's not an obvious flaw because the viewfinder and mirrorless monitor return an adequate view (mounted on a reflex you would notice). In conclusion, I can say that I would not have expected such a good optical performance from such an economic objective.
sent on 03 Maggio 2019 Pros: Price, handling. Cons: Nobody Opinion: I state that I paid again about 160 euros, having bought a XT3 with 18/55 2.8 and so I wanted a Telezoom a little more pushed. Honestly I did not expect so much surrender with so little expense. At the moment I am satisfied with everything. Of course, in low light, it's a little bit, but the stabilizer does its job great. I will never sell it!

sent on 28 Gennaio 2017 Pros: Weight, versatility, acceptable sharpness, stability, cost, 0.2x magnification. Cons: Management colors and contrast, brightness, building, allungamneto barrel. Opinion: I begin by saying that it paid very little, new with guarantee of course; gray in color and with original box is not, however, a price that satisfied me fully. rnPremesso then that is worth more than it costs, I can say that optically worked just fine in nearly all focal lengths; I noticed a loss of sharpness particularly when climbing almost to the limit of the focal zoom. Probably not too inferior to optical optically excellent as is the 55-200, and given the low cost can satisfy many users. RNLA construction is obviously plasticky and barrel that comes out while zooming is anything but beautiful and comfortable, but the only problems that I feel I indicate to him in color rendering and shadows that under certain conditions find absolutely unsatisfactory and difficult to machine also in post. still speak of an about 15% of the shots I effetuato us and are a relatively low percentage. RNE 'true then that the lens is a bit' dark sabilizzatore though it almost always works to the great kingndendo little problematic shots even at times not quite "shipped." Overall it is a lens that must be taken for what it is, a lens that can really give you great satisfaction in relation to the price that I recommend to all those who make sporadic use of tele. rnHo added ultimately the 0.2x zoom ratio which is the largest of the three zoom 50-140, 55-200, 50-230 and allows anyway to experience a bit '.
sent on 13 Maggio 2016 Pros: Sharpness, light stabilizer, value for '/ great price Cons: plasticky construction, dim Opinion: I bought this lens for about two months and I must say that I am thrilled .rnPagata new € 190 worth much more 'than it costs, has an excellent sharpness, is very light and has a very good stabilizer, I performed at the first shots / 13 to 230 mm without any sign of mosso.rnNon has the aperture ring, but can be adjusted with the wheel, and 'little light, but with Fuji raise his asa is not a problema.rnSicuramente the 55-200 has something in more ', but it costs three times and weighs twice .... it's worth it? rnSoddisfattissimo purchase recommend it to all who want to take good pictures without fainting, considering the price it deserves a 10.
sent on 09 Marzo 2015 Pros: Sharpness and quality of color reproduction, good stabilizer and autofocus Cons: slightly dark Opinion: I purchased this light to match it to an X-E2, I chose the zoom tele less expensive both to complete the kit is because for my kind of photos do not often use the tele. I must say that from the first test shots show an optical quality that surprised me is the clarity, both for color fidelity. Even the built-in autofocus and stabilizer do not disappoint. Does not have the build quality of the more expensive big brother but also has a weight and greater portability and is at a price that is 1/3 of the older brother, and after all the final quality is not bad. Then some adjustment in less kind lack of aperture ring and the ability to disable the stabilizer only menu. Brightness is undoubtedly its weak point but when you consider that with the X-Trans sensor you can get detailed photos and clean even at high ISO, it can be assumed that the quality of the sensor at high ISO allows me to recover 1 or 2 stop in less than luminosity. Be highly recommended to those who want to approach the Fuji system without fainting.
