sent on 26 Ottobre 2022 Pros: Lightweight, not bulky (without hood), sharp. Cons: Metal hood but with rather fragile plastic "clothespins", slow and slightly noisy autofocus Opinion: I had an X-T2 and then two XT3 with different lenses (18, 23, 35, 10-24, 55-200, 50-140, 16, 18-55 and 60macro), but the lens that remained in my heart is him: the 60mm macro. For me it is an excellent lens valid for all uses, of course, in macro it does not reach 1: 1, it is slow in AF and is a little noisy, but for portraits, the landscape where you need to cut out a detail or in generic photography where a 90 equivalent makes the difference, its yield is perfect. Today I have an X-Pro1 with the 16 2.8, but if I get the opportunity I will certainly buy the 60 macro again.
sent on 13 Agosto 2022 Pros: Small... Light... Excellent definition... Colors.... Blurred Cons: Autofocus... Macro 1:2 Opinion: I have been using it for a few days and I am fully satisfied... Beautiful colors... Great blurry.... Diaphragm ring fluid and precise.... Of course it is not a flawless perspective but in my opinion it is a lens that must be understood and exploited for what it can give .... I took it to make landscape and portrait .... Then if he also does some macro so much the better.... But despite being studied for this has limits that leave me perplexed as the minimum focusing distance and the ratio 1: 2 .....but I gladly take up the challenge and I want to see what I can bring home .... So much for what weighs is like not having it in your bag .... Final judgment... Optics to understand and study .... With flaws that for me are merits and make it interesting ..... Rating 9.5
sent on 07 Ottobre 2021 Pros: sharpness from center to edge even at f2.4, bokeh, build quality, weight, no visible distortion, no chromatic aberration Cons: af a bit uncertain, standard hood uncomfortable and bulky Opinion: One of the lenses of the original Fuji triad (the other two are the XF 18mm and the 35mm), which I have never regretted buying. I have been using it for almost 9 years now and I must say that the performance of the af, going from X-E1 to X-E3 and updating the firmware only much improved, although in certain situations it still remains a little uncertain. I replaced the hood almost immediately, which in size and weight is really bulky and uncomfortable. It was born for the macro, but it has a ratio of 1: 2 and therefore needs extension tubes to get to 1: 1. A medium canvas (equivalent 90mm on full-frame), also excellent for portraiture given the discreet bokeh. Definitely recommended.
sent on 30 Marzo 2021 Pros: Sharpness, light, bokeh, construction Cons: Slow and noisy AF, 1/2 ratio instead of 1/1 Opinion: I have been using this lens for two years, L I preferred to the 80 macro for its compactness and lightness that, in my opinion, best lend themselves to mirrorless philosophy. The lens has a slow and noisy AF, if you decide to buy it it must be clear that it is an 'old generation' perspective. The real Achilles heel is the magnification ratio, if it had been 1:1 it would have been a lens of the madonna considering footprint and weight. From his he has exceptional clarity with full opening, a soft blur and a rendering of colors that always leaves me amazed. I use it a lot and I don't think I'm going to get rid of it easily. I carry it in my backpack and pull it out when I'm standing in front of a flower, an insect or whatever equals in front of me on my mountain outings. This lens has many limitations, I do not recommend it to a person who is not very experienced in photography because it is difficult to use. I recommend it to those who want to buy a single lens to make portraits and photograph small objects, find its place in a light kit like my... those who walk for hours uphill and on rough routes must keep light and for this reason must make small compromises! If you take it you probably won't regret it!

sent on 11 Settembre 2020 Pros: Blurred, construction Cons: AF, unsteadied, lampshade Opinion: Good lens for both macros and portraits to which it gives a nice blur. The af is slow and uncertain and in the evening almost unusable, on fuji of the latest generation I would not know if things have improved. For freehand macros it is necessary to shoot around 1/400 otherwise it is easy to have micromox. Metal lampshade, beautiful solid but large and in uncomfortable resting position, making the lens unusable.
sent on 05 Agosto 2020 Pros: Compactness, lightness, construction, metal lampshade, Cons: Non-egregious yield, discreet blurry, autofocus not fast but still sufficiently responsive Opinion: Taken recently enticed by the various reviews and because I was looking for a lens to approach the macro well, I was disappointed. Well built and light, but yield is not gan that. I have an XT-30, it is beautiful but sincerely I thought better: it makes me unlearn to photograph, I pre-10 photographer only in manual and I have to say not very practical. However objective that is not worth what it costs, the focus ring is too light and it is difficult to focus in manual. I expected more from Fuji.
sent on 24 Dicembre 2019 Pros: Yield, sharpness, weight ratio cluttered, blurred, colors Cons: Af Opinion: If he had a usable AF it would be the best Fuji optics! It has a yield on every kind of beautiful subject, it knows to be ultra-sharp but have a beautiful blur, perhaps the most beautiful of Fuji's house, with colors that have only the trio of wonders (18-35-60) and a general rendering that makes you look at the photo and say... Beautiful! The only problem is that what you focus on has to be stationary, still, collaborative, in some ways it's more frustrating than an MF optics!
sent on 19 Settembre 2017 Pros: price, sharpness, blurred, construction, Cons: AF, removable lens hood, Opinion: I just reviewed this goal on my site and I thought I would also stick my reflections on the lens here. It's the last goal I have bought and, since it's been a while since I use it, I think it's time to make a brief review to highlight those that I think are the positive and negative aspects of this lens .nn We immediately start by saying that it is a compact and lightweight lens, the dimensions are right, well proportioned to the Fujifilm machine bodies (I use it on an X-T2). Even the sharpness can not be fine. it's already clear at TA and it even cuts it to the edges. The construction seems to me very good and the fact that it is made of metal increases the sense of strength and strength when taken in hand (even the hood is made of metal). there is not much to say ... Fujifilm from this point of view is really a guarantee.rnAtesting and vignetting on the edges absent (or almost) also at TA and discreet flare resistance (here I thought better) .rn Price & egrave; honest. The lens costs around 600-650 euros but you can find good deals in the used market and you can take it home even by spending half the price list. RnGrawn the blur. Delicate, light, soft, with gorgeous colors. A great lens for portraits. Of course it's not the great 56mm f / 1.2R but its work does it very well, trust me. The salient point of this lens is the AF, not really performing, indeed we say it's pretty slow compared to the speed we used Fujifilm with its ultimate goals. It will not be superficial but it is not a good reason not to buy it. With the X-T2 it definitely improves its performance but even if it's not a lightning, I do not feel bad about it because, as far as I'm concerned, using it I've never "cobbled". Accustomed to the "superlative" nature of the reflexes and top range lenses this tiny 60 mm seems to "trick" too much at the time of shooting, especially in condithose of low light, but perhaps it's just a feeling, because once downloaded the files I hardly encounter unfocused photographs. It is not a "tip and snap" lens, it is thought to be "reasoned" photos and in fact its merits come out right when you take all the time it takes to snap. In these situations, you will not regret any other lens.rnAlso using it for macro photography if you dig it more than good, he convinced me.rnI did not like the fact that to take it out of the camera I must necessarily remove the hood because if in the position of rest (due to its generous size) does not allow easy movement of the lens. In conclusion, it is a slow lens that is not easy to tame, especially for those who are at first. It takes its time to get a bit of a hand and learn to exploit all its value but I honestly believe that anyone who has some practice with the world of photography and with Fujifilm should not have any problems and avr & agrave; many satisfaction from this small but worthwhile lens. I would recommend buying: Yes, no doubt. (Full review on http://www.giuseppetripodi.it/fujifilm-xf-60mm-f2-4-r-macro/)
sent on 26 Luglio 2017 Pros: Compact, lightweight, very sharp Cons: Autofocus a bit slow Opinion: Very compact and lightweight lens to be a mid-sized macro. It's built very well and is all metal. Very sharp already at full opening. The colors are gorgeous and the blur is very soft. I use it for both the macro and the portraits. The autofocus with little light is a little slow (I use it with the XT1) but nothing serious. Recommended
sent on 23 Agosto 2016 Pros: Sharpness, construction, size, price, blurred. Cons: Nobody. Opinion: This optical Fuji is just perfect for a photograph "rational." The autofocus is slow, I guess because of the lens geometry. Camera shake is always lurking and less than 1/100 is virtually impossible to shoot. Personally I prefer the manual focus with this 60mm, thanks to the excellent ergonomics and the software / viewfinder of my XT-10. In ideal conditions, ie with stand and after a careful focus, gives the pictures just perfect. The files that are obtained do not even have to be placed, can be zoomed almost indefinitely as they are now. The thing that strikes me most is precisely the clarity that you get, even already at F2.4. So much so that I am using a little 'all at this time. The results obtained with the portraits are remarkable. The focal length is ideal in relation to the opening of the maximum aperture. The blur is really much pleasant. Macros are very well, but it takes a good dose of patience. Insects moving are really hard to capture, but with plenty of light you can not do everything. Let's say that in macro capabilities are able to just test them with flowers and static objects so far. The price has fallen dramatically, and I managed to find this 60, used, less than 300 Euros. I left very disappointed initially, then I learned to use it and now I'm really glad I bought.

sent on 30 Settembre 2015 Pros: construction, quality of picture sharpness to TA, weight, size, minimum distance of focus Cons: Autofocus is not "lightning" Opinion: Recently bought at a fair price (500 euros) on my last trip to Amsterdam and quickly put to the test. I 'liked immediately the feeling it conveys. It 's not heavy, and not' cumbersome, and 'metal (including hood) and does its job onestissimamente. A lens for portrait is very good and above all very balanced. In fact, I find that the relationship aperture / focal both fruibilissimo without being extreme. The focus that gives and '. in my opinion, very gradevole.rnUsato (only once) with the car mode 'macro, for a photo ravvicinatissima a flower, it produced a pleasant image. Macro photography is not 'my field, so I do not understand, but I think you can understand this as a glass lens macro in the absolute sense of the term. E 'instead of a glass very good for both indoor and outdoor portraits. A F2.4 is already VERY crisp and light permitting, you have no need to close in order to have more 'definizione.rnQuesto 60mm as 18 and 35 is part of the first generation of lenti for the X home Fuji. He left it, with the other two, to set the X-Pro1. Like the other two, and as the X-Pro1, denotes his age 'and denotes the fact of being a little less powerful in terms of autofocus compared to the entire production that Fuji and then' came later. Once again I want to congratulate Fuji because with their initial design (X-Pro1,18mm, 35mm, 60mm) gave the photographer all that is needed to cover 80% of photographic genres and to do it with quality and satisfaction .rnIl drawback of this lens, as already 'mentioned, and' autofocus which is a bit 'slow even when light conditions are good. With not optimal light begins to move forward and backward and often gives up! I must say, for my little experience with this lens, when struggling to find the fire, if then "hooks" does accurately. I mean I've had situations where not 'managed to hook the focus but I have found no case of sbagliata.rnUsandolo focus in macro mode at distances ravvicinate autofocus performance even worse. But this' physiological for any macro lens. When you approach the minimum distance of focusing everything it slows down and sometimes even fails with macro lenses "specialist" and a lot of money and name superiori.rnHo given a grade 9 to this lens because overall I think do well his work .rnPer the price that costs and returns for what I would recommend it highly to all Fuji X camera owners seeking an average light for portraits (and not only) of qualita'.rnMax
sent on 13 Luglio 2015 Pros: Weight, quality diaphragm also TA, building, macro Cons: focus Opinion: After a few days of use is already clear that the optics is built very well, the lightness is a point in his favor but also the quality of the lenses. Amazing sharpness and precision f / 2.4 (almost comparable to XF56mm f / 2.5). Blurred high quality, soft. Excellent macro function. If used as a classic 90mm AF is quite slow in dark conditions, greatly improved with the firmware update (both optical and body) but it is still the only slightly discordant note of a view otherwise impeccable.
sent on 30 Giugno 2013 Pros: Weight, size, quality optics. Cons: The Af is not a thunderbolt of war, but after the update and taking into account that it is a macro lens and then with a helix in the long run we say you can define acceptable. Opinion: It is currently the home of medium telephoto Fuji. In my opinion is a desire to live at all costs a mediotele with a macro lens, which among other things will come to a magnification ratio of 1:2 does not seem apt. They could point to a 85-90 with AF a bit faster, like 35. Anyway the qualities in terms of quality both of the lenses of both the construction are indisputable. Even the blur is very pleasant. The lens hood is well made but it increases the size dramatically. Too bad because the lens is very compact and lightweight. LAF after the update is fast enough, but forget pictures of subjects that move quickly or unpredictably. I highly recommend it for its excellent optical qualities, but in truth they are waiting for the new Fuji 56 F1.2.
sent on 07 Settembre 2012 Pros: Outstanding optical quality at all apertures and distances of focus, macro, including compact and lightweight Cons: Slow AF (fixed with the current firmware 2.0 the X-Pro 1) Opinion: As optical quality is perhaps the best of the first set of objectives presented by Fuji together with the X-Pro 1. It lends itself to all kinds of mediotele practicable with a good brightness, from landscape to close-up portraits. Although it is a macro lens, in fact, at the widest apertures (2.4 or 2.8) provides a fuzzy mellow and unstructured, albeit not at the level of the classic super bright. Sharpness of reference, distortion and light falloff at the edges imperceptible even ta Unfortunately the AF of X-Pro 1 with this lens requires, in less than optimal lighting conditions, a lot of patience and dedication. It will eventually learn to improve a little 'things. UPGRADE: the new firmware 2.0 solves the problem dramatically and allows you to make the most of this excellent mediotele even in ambient light.
