Pros: Value for money, sharpness, lightness, fast AF. OIS.

Cons: No diaphragm ring

Opinion: I had it as a gift and honestly having the 1680 I did not know what to do with it since it does not have the aperture ring but then after taking several shots I was amazed by the sharpness up to 50mm. The PP is very limited to the few light/shadow and contrast corrections and then the file is ready. Tested on XPRO series. For someone it is dark but honestly with this lens I am not interested in bokeh, portraits but I make landscapes. Already at F 5.6 it is more than sharp until F11 I did not notice large losses. At 16mm it distorts if you are not careful and compared to the 1680 you notice the difference only if you zoom in on the PC you notice it. For the rest, I find it excellent. Will I keep it? I do not know because already owner of the 1680 but its lightness tells me to keep it and coupled with the XE2 becomes a nice light compact.

Pros: The main benefits are the lightness and compact size, it is carried everywhere and its range of 16-50 makes it very versatile. It also has the OIS, which allows to use much longer shooting times than optics that lack it, partly remedying its low brightness; I don't make videos but this feature is probably very interesting even for those who start shooting. Excellent quality/price ratio. Autofocus good....

Cons: ... but in non-optimal light conditions it loses shots. Not a blade, with intermediate openings is sharp enough but nothing phenomenal. I would have preferred a ring to adjust the opening on the lens. The brightness leaves something to be desired.

Opinion: Paid about 160 euros, at this price I really do not feel like complaining. The lens works well and allows you to get by a bit in all scenarios since it offers both a fairly pushed wide angle and a light canvas. However, it must be considered that we must have good light conditions because the lens is not very bright, we can earn some stops thanks to the OIS but do not expect to take photos at night. It is true then that it is built entirely of plastic but honestly it does not bother me, once mounted it remains firmly attached to the body and if this keeps low price and weight welcome. Very good in my opinion to start with, it is useful even for the most experienced with better kits thanks to its versatile focal range and great portables that always make it useful.

Pros: Lightweight, fast, crisp AF in standard light situations. Used price gifted

Cons: Made of plastic like toy cameras. Bad plastic bayonet to handle with care.

Opinion: If you overcome the rock of construction in bad plastic, for what it costs it is a real bargain. It's really sharp between f5.6 and f11. It has a very fast and quiet autofocus. It weighs so little that you feel like you haven't attached anything to the car. With light sources in the frame or just outside the edges it's bad, with crazy flares. They are so intrusive that if you want you can use them to compose surreal photos. The absence of the diaphragm ring is not a problem because you manage it with the wheel. It is fantastic to take on holiday, coupled with the 50-230 you are very light and bring home good photos. Paired with the xt-10 I also had some landscape photos selected for public exhibitions, in the middle of most of the photos taken with nikon, canon and sony flagships. This testifies that the beautiful photos are in the photographer's head and not in the metrics and cameras. Having said that, I normally prefer to go out with 18-55 because it's a little brighter and contruded well. Let's say that to take him on the exits of several days when you are already overloaded with other things I highly recommend it. I hold it tight and if it were to break I would buy it back right away

Pros: Value for money, sharpness and lightness

Cons: Lack of diaphragm ring, plastic construction

Opinion: I purchased this zoom kit lens along with my first mirrorlles, a Fuji XT-20, it's an all-plastic zoom, compact but really lightweight. I have seen, for the little I understand, that it produces good quality images with excellent levels of clarity. Being such a light and versatile lens it is great to carry around in everyday use, and quietly provides excellent performance, less suitable in the evening as it is not bright. It has fast, quiet and accurate focus, It has great sharpness for a zoom kit lens already at f/5.6, at f/6.4 you really get the best results. It pairs perfectly with the XT-20. Surely there is much better, but purchased used little by little, it is worth having it, even if you use it only occasionally, for its versatility.

Pros: Exceptional optics, plastic but very robust, precise and quiet.

Cons: No cons, apart from the brightness, but it's a little detail.

Opinion: This objective is located in the second-hand market at a very affordable price and provides respectable performance. Okay with the various cameras in the X series : I have XE1, XM1 and XT1 and I feel great with all of them. Quality is not afraid of comparisons with other cameras (not full frame of course). We must never forget to use the lampshade which is really indispensable.

Pros: Exceptional optical quality for a kit lens.

Cons: Plastic bayonet.

Opinion: Bought bundled with the xt-20 for a palyable price. I had planned to support a fixed focal point immediately, but when I saw the first results I decided to wait. For more than a year it was my only goal. At F8 it is very sharp on all the focal points. The stabilizer works well and the AF is sufficiently accurate and fast. In short, a kit lens that made me forget the previous experiences not really exciting with this class of goals.

Pros: Exceptional price quality, great yield, fast and quiet autofocus, stabilized.

Cons: Plastic bayonet, but given the price it's in.

Opinion: It fooled me. I took him on holiday on the tour of the lakes of Northern Italy and he gave me great satisfaction. The autofocus (X-T1) is fast and very quiet, the quality is great at diaphragms a little more closed, at full opening suffers a bit at the edges. As much as it costs it's a drama not to have it.

Pros: Unbeatable value for money

Cons: Plastic compared to XFs, but it is already known at the time of purchase

Opinion: I was wary of this optics until the moment I tested it: the files you get are excellent even at full opening. Ideal for travel and for all occasions when you want to stay light. I did home tests with easel comparing it with 14 2.8, 23 1.4 and 56 1.2 The results were surprising as well as unexpected: for the same diaphragm I did not notice particular differences, not even looking for the details to monitor Recommended. Given the results I decided to buy also the 50-230

Pros: Very light, stabilized, excellent yield at all focal lengths, unbeatable value for money.

Cons: For the use that I do, as an optical ' from kit ' and given the price, I would say none.

Opinion: Taken used at €120, it has an amazing value for money! I preferred it to the most fancy XF 18-55, which however lacks those 16mm which for me make a difference. Ok, it's plastic, missing the aperture ring and if it gets wet it explodes... But for me it is not a problem, given the use that I do (' casual ' exits where I want to be light), and above all, given the excellent performance. For me it was a bargain, highly recommended. Rated 9.

Pros: Focal Range, light

Cons: Unmanageable lens hood, a bit harsh on the zoom ring

Opinion: Outstanding quality price if purchased in camera kit. Not very bright but excellent handyman superior to the basic canon and Nikon lenses. I'm using it on a Fuji Xe2. Surely his older brother 18-55 is brighter but the 16mm are always comfortable!!! I personally recommend it even if it is considered ' Plasticoso '

Pros: Value for '/ great price if purchased (100 € used see NOC), stabilized, clarity, lightness

Cons: seemingly robust construction but unfortunately to me is a complete bayonet sector is broken

Opinion: The plastic construction of the bayonet is not up to the optical range, but not the quality of economic optics nikon and canon is so deficient, just compare the thickness at the point of rupture is about one millimeter and a half of very brittle thermosetting plastic . In September, I will send the optics in assistenza.rnPreciso that the optical and machine have never fallen, at least since I acquistato.rnHo decided to stick with Loctite optics on a XM1 well solve the problem of the cost of repair and dust. castom version!

Pros: Value for '/ great price, stabilized, clarity, lightness

Cons: plasticky construction

Opinion: Has a quality '/ exceptional value in comparison to the canon and Nikon kit lenses are ciofeche. Stabilized and with very good sharpness at all focal lengths, contained the distortion. Construction is plasticky and cheap, but really the price at which it is located you can not 'expect more'. Missing the dial aperture, but you can 'adjust with the wheel, however, very convenient. Highly recommended.

Pros: quality / price ratio, sharpness and lightness

Cons: No one saw the cost of the lens

Opinion: I bought this lens kit with Fuji XT10, I was already aware that the construction of this lens was all plastic, but just mounted on the camera I had to reverse, the graft is without force and they do not have the game between ' bayonet and lens, the zoom ring is also very smooth and pleasant to the touch while the ring MAF is a bit 'small and for those with large hands may be uncomfortable. rnUnico drawback to this objective, and that does not work with LMO (lens modulation optimizer) that is located inside the camera software as the optics of the XF series, the rest has a very good sharpness almost uniform throughout the frame except to 16mm where one notices a small decline on the frame but nothing irricuperabile than basic lens supplied as original equipment on SLR cameras and not only, can safely confront optical medium / high qualità.rnGrosso advantage is that having a good quality, is the '; Ideal lens for travel and the long marches in the mountains where the lightness of kit for me is very important without having to give up to bring home a lot of clicks buoni.rnIl its range of use where returns some good shots is between f / 5.6 f / 8, as well starts to go in diffraction, of course, it has some limitations in very dark scenes but it is not only due to optics "dark" but for me that predominantly daytime shooting is not a problema.rnNegli indoors does very well and it returns colors and sharpness of good qualità.rnConsigliato for the really low price for its handiness and lightness without compromising on the quality of the shots, now you can find it on the web again to € 169.

Pros: quality / price ratio, does its job pretty well

Cons: total lack selector diaphragm

Opinion: What many do not say this in sull'acquistare kit and the reason why many prefer the 18-55, is that with the fuji xt 10 makes it more artificial and less immediate l 'use of the machine in A, S, M because without the switch diaphragm forces to 'use the menu of the room, very slowing of the' immediacy of fotografare..meglio choose 18-55 spending a little 'more ..

Pros: Price, wide-angle 24mm (equivalent) F.3.5

Cons: low light with paintings (but you knew that already)

Opinion: When I purchased (online in Germany) the X-A1 have been long fought to take it only if the body or the whole kit (ie with this goal). In the end I decided to spend 70 Euros more to have too zoom. The reasoning was this: the X-a1 was purchased for use with the 27mm f.2.8 and 90% will remain attached to the pancake. But it is also true that for 70 € I brought home a 16mm F.3.5 that can always be handy (other focal are not to be thrown away anyway if you use them during sunny days when the brightness is not in short supply). So I can say that this lens is definitely recommended for those who buy a complete kit (car + zoom) paying the latter a few tens of euro as in my case. The overall quality of the lens (though the price might suggest otherwise) seem good. Obviously it is a view that I never bought separated from the body for 300 euro :)
