Pros: well built, price (120€)

Cons: I don't know

Opinion: my specimen received from 7artisans of the fish-eye 7.5mm f/2.8 for Eos M, did not focus beyond about 1 mt, up close the photos were perfect but it was not the function I wanted to give it ! ... I'm going to send him back, hoping to get another better checked one. Anyway I'll rewrite my review when I get another one. I got email-assistance from 7artisans and I have to adjust the focus to infinity and .....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UO2wvmQ-s-Q but it didn't work and I sent the lens back ... arrived the new this week tried and that's fine. They have very efficient customer service !

Pros: Opening, sharpness already at 2.8, precise manual focus, pleasant blur of the bottom of the field. Barrel all metal excellent construction. THE PRICE of the used car. Minimum distance.

Cons: Weight (but you understand it's all made of metal) a little bit of a binge (but which fisheye doesn't ??)

Opinion: In essence a lens that does its duty to a few Euros, I always keep it in the backpack for excursions in the mountains, practical also with the focus (manual) and the ring of the diaphragms beautiful fluid. From the maximum of itself to f4 but also to f2.8 it is not bad, even at minimum distances from subjects creates a pleasant blurry at the bottom of the field despite me mounting it on a 4/3. On the other, a little bit of abberrations that I solve in pp but it's normal on such a lens. I'm having a lot of fun and since using this lens I've learned a lot creatively.

Pros: The price

Cons: the quality

Opinion: I understand the enthusiasm to find at such a low price an easy and robust fun lens and these are definitely many merits. But you don't expect quality images as its resolve barely reaches 10mega pixels. It's a little bit older and cheaper, like the Sony A6000 I tried it on. I also did a review of it on youtube: https://youtu.be/HP_doF_Wvnc

Pros: – Sharp lens already at full opening (f/2,8) that gives the best of itself between f/4 and f/8 – Bokeh very pleasant – Simplicity of focus – Excellent construction, with small size – Cheap

Cons: – Deceinted ghiere (useful for video-takers) that do not resist any involuntary movements while holding the lens – Cap, without pressure lock, which is easily removed when the lens is stored in the backpack /bag. The lampshade (flower type) covers very little the lens and therefore can not keep it safe from possible bumps so we would have liked a cap with a better closure

Opinion: We had the opportunity to try this fisheye lens. We were very curious about the genre so we accepted many willingly to do tests. The lens is quite small in size (63x63mm). But despite its small size, the weight is felt: 275 grams of pure metal. The constructive aspect is undoubtedly one of the merits of this lens. In fact, bayonet and lampshade are metal and you hear it! You have suffered the feeling of robustness and solidity, characteristics that are not easily found in lenses of this price range (usually plastic, although this does not affect the quality of the lenses). The angle of field is 180 degrees on APSC and has a diaphragm consisting of as many as 11 slats. The lampshade, which as we said is made of metal, is embedded in the lens and is not removable. This lens does not support any type of filter. The lens is manual so you have to take a little hand, but thanks to the "focus peaking" function everything becomes easier. In our opinion, the absence of automation is not a defect especially when it allows production costs to be contained, with a reflection on the final price to the consumer. Our opinion is undoubtedly positive. If you are passionate about the genre it is a great solution with good value for money. For our photographic genre, it is not an indispensable lens so in the end we opted for the lighter Olympus 9mm

Pros: Funny, cheap, solid metal structure, brightness, sharpness.

Cons: Heaviness, cap falls easily, obvious chromatic aberrations

Opinion: I bought it without expecting too much, just to be able to take some more fun and particular photos. I fell in love with it. Not only for performance above expectations, but because I found that a Fisheye, at least one so good and practical to use, can be used, with a little imagination, in many situations. The structure is very solid, I was expecting the usual plastic, instead it is great, although obviously a bit heavy. The aberrations are there, but on the other hand from this kind of lens I expected them. The sharpness is really way above expectations. I have not encountered all these problems with the dials, remembering the really cheap price, I do not think you can ask much more, nor perfection.

Pros: Funny, crisp, cheap, solid, bright construction

Cons: Color aberration, falling cap

Opinion: One of the funniest lenses I have. It solves complicated situations on the go both as clutter and as results. In New York I took pictures that I couldn't have done otherwise. A lot of chromatic aberration but that easily rises in post-production. Pleasant ghiere even if that of the diaphragms is continuous and therefore not precise.

Pros: Great value, solid construction, good flare resistance.

Cons: Color aberration at the edges, but on M4/3 sensor is less intrusive for cropping. Diaphragms' ghiera frees, moves easily and should often be controlled.

Opinion: The use of a fisheye is always justified and limited to a few situations, so a low expense on a good quality perspective is advisable. This 7arts does not regret the little money spent ensuring a more than good performance with just a little chromatic aberration at the edges. With this in mind, manual focus is by no means limiting.

Pros: Cost, construction, overall make acceptable, covers the entire APS-C frame, vintage appearance and invoice.

Cons: Free diaphragms, no correction profiles in PP SW, soft ta

Opinion: Economic objective that honestly does its job. I have it for about a week but I used it intensively in various contexts to test it and possibly return it but I have to say that I am very very satisfied. Its best operating range is between 5.6/8/11. A more open diaphragms is soft, especially at the edges, although usable. At the diaphragm almost completely closed at 22 difraction manifests itself. The chromatic aberration as well as the flare, which I feared very much, actually I find both very contained. Mechanically it is unexceptionable but the diaphragms' diaphragms free requires attention and should be checked practically before each shot because it moves easily. The front lens is very protruding and the small fixed lampshade does little to protect it but this is inevitable. The front cap is well-crafted, must be put on the pressure on the lampshade and seems to hold well even if it is not mechanically blocked. Ultimately a very recommended optics that allows with a really minimal expense (just over 100 euros import) to have fun without giving up too much quality. I use it on the Sony A6000 and even if you have virtually everything in focus I always prefer to seal with the help of the camera's focus assist. Beware that in many post-production software the lens correction profile is not available and you are obliged to do the corrections by hand or using a profile of some other fisheye. EDIT of April 9, 2020. I confirm all the positives. In the period between the first review and the beginning of the virus quarantine I used the lens intensely and in various light conditions. The only flaw if the sun is framed is the flare that sometimes does not disturb and sometimes disturbs a lot. But I repeat... only with the sun framed. The judgment remains excellent. I can't wait for the virus quarantine to finish to continue using it!

Pros: Material quality and cost .

Cons: Aberrations and sharpness at the edges.

Opinion: Strong aberrations in some cases, then you have to always be careful that the diaphragm goes on its own because it does not go jerky but is as fluid as the focus, and you find yourself at full opening or closed to the maximum. As sharpness is sharp enough in the center but at the whole opening the photo loses species at the edges . Let's say you can play with the particular shots, and if you're careful about the distortion you can take unusual photos. I would say that for the cost and for how this optics is built it is worth having it on the stock exchange.voto8.5.ps : I update my review at a distance of some further evidence , I can say that it is an acceptable optics from the point of view colors , but not of general yield , the vote is negative. A lot of aberration at the edges as well as lack of general sharpness in lateral light conditions. I like for the materials I give it in trade and I try the samyang 7.5 f 3.5 of which speak well on yuza. Thank you for your patience but if you want to give a fair judgment you have to try it for a while.

Pros: Construction quality, price

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Focus never experienced to this day... 7.5mm on m4/3 which equates to about 15mm. I gave this optics to my trusty Em1 mk1 for my trip to NYC. I have to say that the choice was really right. First of all, I was amazed at the quality of the materials, all iron and glass, a small ingot... I was undecided between this lens and the Samyang of focal peer; The 7artisans, however, starts from f/2.8 and that's why I chose the latter. If you want to bring a large scene back in one shot, this is ideal! You have to be careful, however, to its 180 degrees of coverage, you risk to include also the fingers that tighten the lampshade [fixed among other things and also metal]. The sharpness is already present at full opening, but often I found myself using it between f4 and f8 except in the dark churches where I wanted to stay with low iso to avoid too much noise... sometimes even at f22 to create a pleasant star effect on the bright spots and but to cod with the diffraction. All in all a very specific lens, which definitely makes you have fun and saves you in situations where you are too tight. Given the price ranging from 120/140 euros, it's worth it! A few fresh shots with this optics: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmHyiXt3

Pros: Solidity, quality, well done. Cost

Cons: It requires small corrections but is a fisheye

Opinion: Bought on Amazon for 169 euros I consider it a great purchase. I own an Opteca 6.5 (aka Samyang) for Nikon F, a Meike for Nikon1 and an 8mm Olympus micro four-thirds pancake and the winning photos are right with that goal. The typical corrections that need to be made are on the shadows because of the vignette and a pinch of variation in tone (the latter is a subjective choice).

Pros: Good construction (all metal), good incisiveness and sharpness, excellent value for money

Cons: Slight chromatic aberration at the edges, the aperture ring does not stop on the pre-set values

Opinion: It is not autofocus but from 1 meter to infinity is all in focus, just work with the right diaphragms. Very funny and interesting lens on some occasions, to be used sparingly, the effect is quite "heavy". Good sharpness, does not disfigure even compared to other lenses Fuji, also has a good look "vintage" that well coupled with my XE3. It is entirely made of metal and not very light (you can feel the difference with the other fixed lenses that I have), from an idea of robustness and stability. Recommended, normally a fisheye costs at least triple...

Pros: Price, compactness, quality

Cons: No one for what you spend

Opinion: I have included quality in the pros because the piece that came to my surprise is not exactly what I expected but much more. From the reviews found on the net I was expecting a something assembled to the least worse with plasticaccia front cap and optic coupling ring of blued scrap metal. Instead I was handed a specimen, probably the result of a recent restyling, with metallic cap, chrome optic coupling ring, which engages on the Fuji body without games, entirely of glass and metal with focus rings and fluid diaphragms and with the Right clutch (analog memory stuff). At full aperture is a soft hair but nothing ruinous that can not recover with a slight mask of contrast, closing already a stop improves considerably. I had read of the reviews in which it was argued that there was the danger of engaging it also on the contrary, with danger detachment, with the red opposite reference of 180 degrees but from my tests there is only one way to graft it, the correct one. In short it seems a matter of substance especially in the consistency, it is small but is cramed with glass, all in a barrel with the solidity of a manhole, I do not know which alloy but probably iron-steel vulgaris. Plastic is an unknown element in this perspective, at least from the outside. It is not a perspective that is used often, in the long tired but in a work of documentation one or two photos of together do not spoil and then there is the sensationalistic aspect typical of the fish. Apart from a 12mm Zeiss I don't use anything third party in my kit, especially manual focus but this piece for what it costs and what it offers should not really be lacking in the bag. The focus ring could also have been spared, in a quarter turn it goes from 10 cm to infinity.

Pros: Cost of course, funny.

Cons: I don't know, it's my first fisheye, it doesn't shine for sharpness, especially at the edges.

Opinion: I wanted to add a fisheye to my EOS M kit and given the low cost the choice fell on that. To try it thoroughly I made some exits around the house and a trip to Padua with M6 and only this lens. Funny but of course not recommended this thing...;-)) annoyed me a little the aperture ring "free", ie without shots. When the machine is around the neck, often the diaphragm rotates and since the setting of the same is not visible in the viewfinder (I have the viewfinder on the M6) or in the screen, it creates some problem, or rather, requires more attention. with aperture 5.6/8 in my humble notice from the best and you can leave the fire on infinity (or almost). That gives the best does not mean that it is particularly sharp at the edges. In interiors I managed to photograph Freehand, 1/13 to 800 ISO with "decent" results. Weight and size, from M-series. Caution should be made for the front lens protruding. Front cap that fits in the lens hood (fixed) and at the moment seems to remain in its place without problem. Come on, not bad, it made me want a FF fisheye... other costs though!
