Pros: brightness, material and cost and vintage aesthetics

Cons: sharpness

Opinion: Great lens for portraits, does not regret more expensive lenses. very fun to use and for those like me who are at the beginning very good to learn! easy overall today remains one of my favorites and given the very low cost I would recommend it to those who want to start starting from a bit of manual skills!

Pros: all

Cons: nobody

Opinion: Working PDC scale, marked internal reflections, very good sharpness. Colors not bad but not bright, decliccatod diaphragm beautiful but that does not make you understand the transition from one diaphragm to another. One of the best optics ever owned and tested by 7Artisans along with 12 and 60 macros. Returned without any repentance after trying the 56 Viltrox

Pros: Fun, inspiring, fulfilling

Cons: Everyone, for those who think little about having fun.

Opinion: I'm not a photography expert, but I understand something. It is clear that at EUR 120, new, we cannot want who knows what. And yet that's where the beauty lies. For anyone who wants to have fun, learn to shoot, rejoice in the focus done well. For those who love imperfect details, the unique characteristics then this is yours for him. For those who "work", forget it. But it's certainly not this review that needs to tell you. Have fun, and good photos!

Pros: Price-for-money ratio, assembly, materials, brightness, vintage aesthetic.

Cons: Low flare resistance with framed lights, vignette at maximum openings.

Opinion: An optics that at a ridiculous price offers so much quality but that requires a certain attention in use. Manual MAF is not a big problem with modern ML assistance systems although at TA you have to take into account a certain percentage of light out of focus, percentage that in my case has quickly dropped to physiological values as I became familiar with optics. Excellent blur, among the best thanks to the high number of diaphragm blades. Central sharpness good in portraiture also at TA and that improves decidedly closing even by just two stops even if of course it never reaches the resolutions of emblazoned optics and cost at least five times more. The lens at its best at short and medium distances, I would not use it for panoramas even if the infinity focus is precise. The experience is great for me, it requires thinking, composing, calmly sealing all things that could bother lovers of the fast shot. Its high brightness gives you opportunities to shoot with low light without having to raise the ISO sensitivity. Ultimately an optics that in my opinion is a must have for old-fashioned portraiture, the one that I love the most and lacks the exasperated search for detail. Unimpeachable mechanical quality but the diaphragms diaphragms requires attention. For less than 120 euros new this lens deserves and teaches a lot even if a classic 50ino AF remains a must in the kit.

Pros: Blurred, feeling of solid materials

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Of course, as a portrait lens, I don't regret any autofocus automation. The lens is solid, the lenses are sharp and the size is small. The price is a gift (I own a Samyang 85mm for Nikon which cost me a lot more but which I can't compare for use in completely different cameras). The blurry 1.4 is very nice (to my taste). You don't even buy a used one with these features at 129 euros.

Pros: Opening, cost, controls

Cons: Corners sharpness from F4, packaging, build quality

Opinion: The lens itself comes in a very simple packaging, I expected it given the paltry cost, but the optical quality surprised me. Although it remains a lens from 100 euros, the optical yield and the opening forgive the constructive quality in the average. From F/1.4 to F/2.8 is sharp especially in the center, if you look for sharpness at the corners you have to close to f/4, but being a portrait lens, the need for sharpness at the corners is relative. Are present, beyond the focus ring, that of the Diframi, declicked. The bokeh instead is pleasant (thanks to the 14 aperture blades), soft, is not the best on the square but this figure is absolutely a best buy if you are looking for a lens to start doing portraits: being a fixed and manual lens (no autofocus), everything The investment you make remains on the quality of the lenses, recommended!
