Tra le pietre che sfiorano il cielo...Ladakh

Ladahk o "Piccolo Tibet" : regione settentrionale dell'India. Antico regno che confina con gli immensi altopiani Tibetani. Una natura spettacolare che miscela i colori incredibili delle rocce, con il verde vivo delle oasi, il blu cobalto del cielo con il bianco della neve perenne. Territori isolati, remoti, sono il regno del silenzio, dove la spiritualità intimamente legata alla natura, si manifesta in ogni luogo con un susseguirsi di chortem, monasteri, muri mani. La sensazione è quella di perdersi in un paesaggio incantato che rapisce e porta per mano in un mondo senza tempo. Un territorio abitato da contadini, pastori nomadi, monaci che da sempre conducono la loro esistenza autosufficiente circondati dalla grandiosità delle montagne Himalayane. Un famoso orientalista, Giuseppe Tucci scrisse: "Noi corriamo che ci manca il fiato. Essi hanno il tempo per dimenticare il tempo: che è il segreto per vivere ancora con se stessi".
