Come sapete le colture dell'altopiano di Castelluccio sono esclusivamente biodinamiche. Questo comporta che tutti i campi (non esclusivamente di lenticchia, ma anche altri legumi e cereali idonei all'altura: farro e segale) siano "infestati" anche da piante non seminate ma autoctone. I colori sono determinati dal periodo di dissodamento del terreno: prima fiorisce una pianta gialla, poi il papavero ed infine il fiordaliso. La lenticchia è una pianta piccola e bassa che scompare sotto quest'altre. Ha piccoli fiori bianchi ed un baccello di soli tre semi. Quindi quelli che vedrete non saranno fiori di lenticchia e non si potrà certo parlare di una sua fioritura.
