Autumn

Cos'è l'autunno, se non un esplosione di colore? Convinto di ciò, ho cercato di rappresentare l'autunno sul carso triestino attraverso il colore. In particolare del rosso e dell'arancio che caratterizzano gli arbusti della macchia. La scelta di utilizzare molto il mosso creativo è dovuta al fatto che sul territorio le tinte più accese si hanno nella vegetazione bassa. Questa mal si presta a grandi vedute d'insieme fatte con un tele (come può essere ad esempio il caso dei boschi canadesi). Serve restringere la visuale. Il problema è che con le moderne fotocamere si ha troppo dettaglio, e fare il primo piano ad un cespuglio risulterebbe inevitabilmente in moltissimo "rumore". Con il termine non intendo il classico rumore degli alti ISO, ma quello di un dettaglio talmente denso da essere ridondante. Diciamocelo, a nessuno frega niente di contare una ad una le foglie, con la conseguenza che queste diventano un elemento di disturbo. Da qui la scelta drasticamente opposta di eliminare il dettaglio in blocco, lasciando solo la sua impressione: le forme, la luce, i colori.
