Utopicity

Doha é la reclame di se stessa; una moderna cittá ideale di cui gli uomini sembrano non aver ancora preso possesso. É come se il suo immaginario creatore avesse piazzato solo qualche pedina animata per rendere realistico il plastico a grandezza naturale del progetto urbano. Ho voluto registrare l'immagine che i ricchi arabi ci vogliono dare della loro societá: un mondo fatto di bellezza, ordine e pulizia, di moderni grattacieli e di immensi giardini e prati rigogliosi irrigati da preziosissima acqua, il tutto sorto dove prima non c'era che sabbia.
