Ho ricevuto la Leica IIIf in eredità da mio nonno. Sono sempre stato affascinato da questa macchina fotografica, e così, dopo anni di inutilizzo, ho deciso di ridarle vita. Ho acquistato un rullino Ilford Delta 400 e ho iniziato a scattare, senza alcuna aspettativa. Quando ho fatto sviluppare le foto e le ho avute tra le mani, ho avuto un attimo di esitazione: sembravano provenire da un altro periodo storico. La macchina conserva davvero quel sapore degli anni '50, esattamente dell'epoca in cui fu acquistata. Incoraggiato dal risultato, ho comprato un altro rullino. Il resto si vedrà. Grazie a chi apprezzerà queste immagini: il vero valore, per me, sta nell'aver fatto rivivere un pezzo della storia della mia famiglia — qualcosa che, forse, non tutti possono comprendere appieno.
