Forti di Genova

Genova è circondata da un insieme di fortificazioni militari risalenti a diverse epoche, che la Repubblica di Genova edificò a difesa del territorio urbano del capoluogo ligure nel corso della sua storia. I progetti di edificazione vennero inoltre ripresi e utilizzati in epoca napoleonica, risorgimentale e durante la prima e la seconda guerra mondiale. Questi forti rappresentano la più lunga cinta muraria in Europa e la seconda al mondo, dopo la grande muraglia cinese. Una rete di sentieri permette di percorrere questa straordinaria linea fortificata con un percorso complesso e dislivelli non indifferenti ma di grande soddisfazione e con panorami strepitosi.
