LA COSTA ADRIATICA: il monte Conero interrompe la monotonia delle spiagge sabbiose della costa marchigiana, con le sue calette rocciose ed i suoi boschi. All'epoca del passo degli uccelli migratori, tra marzo ed Aprile, alti sulla Gradina del Poggio del Conero passano migliaia di rapaci, il falco pecchiaiolo come specie più numerosa, seguito dal falco di palude. Gli altri a seguire, molto distanziati sono sparvieri, albanelle minori, falchi cuculi, poiane, gheppi, grilleppi (grillaio/gheppio), lodolai, nibbi bruni, albanelle pallide, falchi pescatori, nibbi reali, albanelle reali, grillai, rare poiane codabianca, bianconi, il falco sacro, il falco pellegrino "calidus", lo smeriglio. Tra i grandi veleggiatori sono state osservate cicogne bianche, cicogne nere e molte gru.
