Original Cosplay

Un original cosplay è un costume ideato completamente dalla fantasia del cosplayer, piuttosto che ispirato a un personaggio esistente di anime, manga, film, videogiochi o fumetti. In pratica, chi crea un original cosplay inventa un personaggio da zero, definendone aspetto, abiti, accessori, stile e, spesso, anche la storia o personalità. Può essere ispirato a un tema (come fantasy, steampunk, gotico, ecc.), ma non esiste una “versione ufficiale” a cui somigliare. È una forma di espressione creativa molto libera, dove il cosplayer è anche stilista, scenografo e autore del proprio universo.
