Il mio ultimo viaggio prima dello scoppio della pandemia di Coronavirus è stato tra i villaggi della valle dell'Omo, in Etiopia. In questo territorio circoscritto vivono numerose e differenti tribù etniche che hanno conservato le loro antiche e peculiari tradizioni culturali. Ho incontrato le tribù Surmi, Mursi, Hamer, Nyangatom, Daasanach e Karo, di cui ho cercato di cogliere le rispettive somiglianze e differenze per rappresentare questo caleidoscopio di culture e ricchezze espressive.
