Qualche scatto di una fredda notte invernale. Il filo conduttore sono i forti contrasti e le direzioni delle immagini. 1) Il Leone, protettore della città, che apre la serie guardando verso destra 2) Il vicolo buio, in cui la luce è protagonista 3) La direzione delle arcate accentuata dall'uomo in bicicletta che volge verso sinistra spingendo lo sguardo proprio verso quella direzione 4) Infine l'uomo nell'ultimo scatto che chiude la serie camminando verso sinistra, lasciando la freddezza delle vetrine accentuata dai manichini statici.
