Il viaggio verso casa è un tipo di viaggio in cui generalmente si conosce la strada e l'occhio si abitua al paesaggio circostante. Questo perde d' interesse e l'attenzione si sposta sui nostri pensieri. Specialmente quando si vive molto lontani e il tragitto richiede un tempo abbastanza lungo , le ore passate sui mezzi diventano un opportunità per riflettere. Proprio in questa specie di catarsi che i contorni si fanno imprecisi, alcuni dettagli catturano inaspettatamente la nostra attenzione e l'insieme perde d' importanza. Questi scatti sono stati realizzati in maniera istintiva ma non a caso, a cercare di rappresentare uno stato d'animo. Spostarsi da un luogo a l'altro implica sempre un cambio di prospettiva e l' instaurarsi di un nuovo equilibrio, ma questo processo richiede sempre un pensiero astratto.
