Chobe 2018 - Elephants
The Chobe River runs between Botswana and Namibia. We spent one night on land on the Botswana side and did two land safari's then six nights staying on a house boat owned by Pangolin Photo Safari's. The house boat has a tender boat dedicated to photography with swivel chairs and Gimpro Gimbals. Always an extra challenge photographing from a boat but overall I was very happy with the results. On many shots I was deliberately trying to highlight the natural environment as much as the subject. Elephants have their own gallery because the paark supports the largest surviving Elephant populations in the world, currently estimated to exceed 120,000. Hope you enjoy the images.
