Chobe 2018 - Birds
The Chobe River runs between Botswana and Namibia. We spent one night on land on the Botswana side and did two land safari's then six nights staying on a house boat owned by Pangolin Photo Safari's. The house boat has a tender boat dedicated to photography with swivel chairs and Gimpro Gimbals. Always an extra challenge photographing from a boat but overall I was very happy with the results. On many shots I was deliberately trying to highlight the natural environment as much as the subject. Hope you enjoy the images. With all my galleries it is not always about the very best shot of one subject but to represent a variety of subjects, poses, lighting, situations and settings.
