Streets of Nairobi

Nairobi come vista in uno dei miei viaggi di lavoro. Lungo le strade è difficile mimetizzarsi e la gente diffida il fotografo. Nei mercati è più facile stabilire un contatto e scambiare due parole cortesi. Dicono che la diffidenza sia legata ad una credenza per cui la fotografia rapisca l'anima del soggetto. I pochi ritratti che ho potuto fare sono sempre seguiti alla promessa che non avrei venduto le mie fotografie. Raramente nei miei viaggi ho visto colori così saturi spiccare dal grigiore urbano.
