Viaggio a Siracusa

Avvicinandosi nottetempo alla costa dal mare per prima cosa si scorgono le ciminiere e le fiamme delle raffinerie. Le ciminiere sembrano aver sostituito le colonne dei templi dorici e ionici e le fiamme rimandano al sacro fuoco di Vesta o alla fiamma di Olimpia. Una volta arrivati ad Ortigia i piani visivi si moltiplicano inseguendo le innumerevoli stratificazioni architettoniche e di civiltà. Le contraddizioni della nostra società delle ciminiere, aspettano di essere messe in scena in uno dei più bei teatri dell'umanità per un'auspicabile catarsi. La civiltà del petrolio volge alla fine e l'acqua sommerge ogni cosa per consentire una nuova nascita.
