La casa con un occhio

Chiuso nel 1991, a causa dei danni provocati dal terremoto del dicembre 1990, il carcere borbonico di Siracusa è stato lasciato da allora nel totale abbandono. A' casa cu n'occhiu, come da sempre è stato chiamato dai siracusani per via dell'occhio che che campeggia sul portone di ingresso, sotto dal data di posa della prima pietra, rappresenta ancora, nonostante tutta l'incuria subita, uno dei simboli di Ortigia.
