Vernasca Silver Flag - Gara di velocità in salita organizzata dall'Automobile Club Piacenza per 17 edizioni: dal 1953 al 1972. La manifestazione nacque come prova minore del Campionato Provinciale. Il percorso della gara, della lunghezza di 9,775 Km, si sviluppava con caratteristiche completamente differenti tra i primi 5 chilometri e i rimanenti 4. La parte iniziale era contraddistinta da una strada di fondovalle. La seconda era un vero tracciato in salita, con 34 curve di cui la maggioranza tornanti e con pendenze che arrivavano anche al 10%.
