Falco pescatore

Il Falco pescatore appartiene all'ordine degli Accipitriformi, è uno straordinario Falco specializzato nella cattura di pesci di acque dolci, marine e salmastre, che rappresentano le sue uniche risorse trofiche, può essere quindi avvistato sia lungo le coste marine che presso fiumi o laghi. È l'unico rappresentante della famiglia dei Pandionidi nonché l'unico rapace europeo a pescare gettandosi in picchiata, a differenza dell'Aquila di mare che cattura le proprie prede con un volo radente a pelo d'acqua.
