Una passione, quella per i minerali ed i cristalli, nata dal classico primo approccio con l' Isola d' Elba verso la fine degli anni 60. In quel periodo l' Elba era un vero paradiso mineralogico che forniva campioni da museo ad un prezzo stracciato. Era possibile acquistare cristalli splendidi nei posti più improbabili (barbieri, distributori, mercatini,ecc.). Come sempre accade, vista la mia età in quel periodo gli unici acquisti erano concessi dalla magnanimità dei genitori. Reperire ed acquistare adesso campioni con la qualità di allora è praticamente impossibile.
