![]() | Samyang 75mm f/1.8 AF Pros: Optical quality, lightness, custom button that can be useful to control the diaphragm from dial mf, af and eye af sniper. Cons: Missing the real af/mf button, cheap material, customizable button (if we really want) Opinion: I have already done a couple of shots with this lens, leaving out the negative aspects that I mentioned in the "cons", the lens behaves well in optical terms, indeed, very well. At TA is already very good in the center of the frame, loses something at the edges, but closing at f2 recovers a lot, already from 2.8 is perfect from side to side. The use on rIII, does not make a fold, I think it is upper cmq, although different focal, at 45 Samyang. Having had 85 1.8 in the past, I would say that the yield of the 75 is crisper and at ta works even better, it does not have that veiled effect of the sony. I use it together with the 135 gm, found used equal to the new at 1350 euros. The yield of the gm is spectacular, and this sammy accompanies it great. M. sent on October 05, 2020 |
