![]() | Canon 7D Mark II Pros: Autofocus module, burst, reactivity, multiplication factor in the room, video with autofocus, dual slot for memory cards. Cons: The inherent limitations of aps-c size, battery life. Opinion: The 7d mark II is a camera designed for sports or nature photography. The autofocus module is excellent, responsive and highly customizable for different shooting conditions, but it is essential be studied well the manual dedicated to exploit their full potential. The body keeps the autofocus until f8 at the midpoint foam (cross) and this is a good opportunity for more. Reduced shutter lag and gusts up to 10 shots per second give the 7d mark II unmistakably sporty character, as well as very useful (especially for those without super tele in kit) is the crop in the room due to the format aps-c. Just sensor aps-c is the component that most characterizes this camera, from benefit (by multiplying the focal length of the lens) to the limit if you decide to shoot in low light and with very high sensitivity ISO. However compared to the sensor that equipped the 7d old, the new aps-c returns a file with better IQ, a graina little less (at least 2/3 stop less noise) and much more workable in the post. Who will buy this camera for the uses for which it was designed, making sure to use it with good light, it will surely be satisfied. sent on April 23, 2015 |
![]() | Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Pros: Quality / price ratio, lightness, color rendering, good detail to the intermediate focal and image stabilization. Cons: Image too soft at maximum focal length and maximum aperture, autofocus slow and noisy, poor build quality. Opinion: Objective performing his job honestly, but denoting the limits of sharpness at maximum focal length, even if the situation improves significantly closing the focal length up to F8. The autofocus is slow and noisy its true Achilles' heel, but those who are not willing to spend high digits and does not require a lens for dynamic photo, can be found in a good 70-300 zoom. The color rendition is always pleasant and balanced, even if the backlight, especially at the edges of the image, chromatic aberrations out there, but you can easily fix in PP. sent on March 16, 2013 |
![]() | Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM Pros: Color rendering, weight, construction, value for money, virtually no flare, radiating very pleasant. Cons: FF of distortion and poor sharpness in the corners, especially at full aperture. Opinion: The build quality is excellent, as well as value for money! I use it on the 7D and I have no problems at the edges that occur in FF, however, present more or less in all the wide-angle lenses. It 'zoom very versatile, which I highly recommend due to the compact size, sharpness and excellent color rendering. Allows excellent backlight with the absence of flare accompanied by a beautiful sunburst in smaller apertures. Although optics L series, are present major differences between a specimen and the other, especially in terms of sharpness! The 16-35 2.8 L USM II costs almost twice as much and only has the greatest chance of aperture as clear distinguishing feature. sent on December 16, 2012 |
