![]() | Pentax M SMC 80-200mm f/4.5 Pros: Optimum sharpness by closing to 5.6 even at maximum focal length (200mm) Cons: Maximum opening (f 4.5) not excellent. Opinion: Purchased at a ridiculously high price, in excellent condition. Very robust mechanics. Used on the Sony A7 by excellent results. From 5.6 onwards made comparable to the 80-200 Zeiss for C/Y. Length dimensions not exactly in line with the M series. Typical colors and contrast SMC Pentax. Zoom travel with a somewhat retro flavor that reminds the analogue past times. sent on March 14, 2019 |
![]() | Zeiss Makro-Planar (S-Planar) 60mm f/2.8 (C/Y) Pros: Magnificent resolution from the ratio 1:10 to 1:2, very sharp still at 1:1. Typical Zeiss T * colors and contrast. Unbeatable robustness. Cons: A bit short on Full frame. Opinion: Purchased for a few months, absolutely low price for the optical and mechanical quality of the object. Very entertaining for the chance to get to the 1:1 playback ratio. Very usable also for general photos and portraits. Typical Zeiss T * colors and contrast. Unbeatable robustness. Mounted on the Sony A7 is a real pleasure to use it. To have in the Zeiss collection. sent on March 14, 2019 |
![]() | Zeiss Distagon 18mm f/4 (C/Y) Pros: Small, easy to handle, no distortion, beautiful colors, Zeiss T * contrast. Great on Sony A7 24mpff Cons: Resolution not very high, but more than enough for prints 30/45 or monitor 2560x1440px Opinion: Bought used, but in good condition, for a fraction of what costs the current 18. Used a lot for indoor architecture photos. Always traveling with me. Hard to find. Who has it if he holds it! Small, easy to handle, no distortion, beautiful colors, Zeiss T * contrast. Excellent on Sony A7 24mpff, not very high resolution, but more than enough for prints 30/45 cm or monitor 2560x1440 px sent on December 06, 2018 |
![]() | Sony FE 35mm f/2.8 ZA Sonnar T* Pros: Size, weight, sharpness, contrast. T * Lens Treatment Cons: Manual focus can be improved. Price, but who buys a Ferrari knows that it will not pay little! Opinion: Lens for me outstanding for the features listed among the advantages. The price is high, but those who prefer the Ciofagon or the Buoiotar can safely do without buying a mirrorless Full Frame. With this lens I rediscovered the pleasure of zooming by moving back and forth walking, imagining to have an old rangefinder machine, small, precise, fast in the shot. So lens for the amateur of photography, and perhaps for nostalgic! sent on July 26, 2018 |
![]() | Sony A7 Pros: Light, reliable, comfortable in your vest pocket! Cons: Stabilization on the missing sensor, improved above 3200 ISO Opinion: Bought used out of curiosity on a trip to Berlin. Since then (6 months ago) It has made me rediscover the pleasure of photographing. Slowly I replaced my ingombrantissimo Nikon APSC kit with Contax-Zeiss vintage Optics (18-28-50-85-135) and I then bought the gorgeous Zeiss-Sony 35 f 2.8. Photographer now as I was doing as a boy with my old Pentax Mx and the fixed optics of the time. Passion awakened by a love at first sight!! sent on May 31, 2018 |
