![]() | Nikon AF-S 60mm f/2.8 G ED Micro Pros: Sharpness, value for money, colors, weight, construction. Cons: Absent VR, focal length Opinion: I purchased the 60ino several months ago from an authorized dealer. I was in doubt between the 60mm, the 85 mm and of course the 105 mm with the VR, but for economic reasons it goes without saying that the choice fell on the first, from which however I expected much coming from a bridge Nikon that also allowed me to make macro enough pushes. After I took him home I mounted it on a D5500, which then stretches the focal, and I started to do the tests. Before understanding the operation of the MAF, cause inexperience, it's been a long time, but in the end I managed to master the lens quite well and, after the first shots of the Lego characters, I turned to the garden at home. As a result of countless focus tests, I managed to immortate a grasshopper that had rested on a flower, and the biggest surprise were the colors, then the surgical focus, and finally the sharpness that it is difficult to lose even by cropping (if the F OTO is well made). The hood is not a splendid invoice, but I rarely use it and sometimes I pay the consequences, since the lens gets thicker; So, beyond the quality of the material, I highly recommend the use. On the contrary the real lens gives the feel a feeling of absolute reliability and the weight, I dare say, is ridiculous. The AF goes to days. For certain outputs decides to take the holidays and can not hang anything, while other times, even with moving subjects, is able to react well to situations and, taking many shots, brings home the result. Manual focus is always recommended, especially when shooting at stationary subjects. Sometimes the focal length is a great limit, especially for bees or vespas or dragonflies, very difficult to approach because very fast. The butterflies just take them from behind and don't get noticed. If they had put the VR, I think rightly the price would be leavened a lot. Without the reduction of vibrations is very difficult to shoot in more or less adverse conditions of light, you have to lean on the ground or knees to keep it steady as much as possible, but often the move is not able to avoid. The tripod, yes, is useful for making nocturnal landscapes with long times or flowers or plants, but in my opinion is to say the least cumbersome to follow with the tripod a well-vispo insect, which has very fast reaction times. It doesn't mean that it is impossible to photograph an ant or a dragonfly well, because it only takes time and luck. In short, I recommend, rated 9, MAF spectacular, excellent sharpness, colors, price. But also give an eye to your intentions, because the VR could be a nice obstacle. sent on December 08, 2018 |
