Cominicio a fotografare a 16 anni con una compatta analogica Canon, poi con la maturità a 18 anni arriva un regalo inaspettato: la mia prima reflex!
Ho iniziato con la fotografia sportiva seguendo le tantissime competizioni rallistiche che si svolgono in Emilia e non solo.
Con il tempo però questo genere di fotografia non mi ha più restituito le stesse emozioni ed è cominciata invece una grande passione per la montagna e quindi, di pari passo, una grande passione per la fotografia di paesaggio che coltivo ormai da 5 anni

Quello che amo di più della fotografia di paesaggio è naturalmente la ricerca della luce e di quelle condizioni atmosferiche che possono restituirti condizioni di luce irripetibili...Non scorderò mai una frase letta in un libro di un famoso fotografo paesaggista statunitense John Shaw:

"Per un fotografo paesaggista il brutto tempo è bello"

Non mi impongo regole particolari nello scegliere il formato più adatto alla scena, ma certamente amo il formato panoramico (che ottengo unendo più scatti con i software appositi) perchè ritengo che in molte situazioni sia l'unico modo per restituire a chi osserva la fotografia le stesse emozioni che ho provato durante lo scatto.
