![]() | Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Pros: Sharpness, no distortion, Bokeh, general build quality. Cons: A bit of an exaggerated footprint, poor cap quality. Opinion: I have for a few months this wonderful optics with Sony and grafting. Perfect Autofocus, it doesn't miss a shot even at full aperture. At the opening there is a slight vignetting that disappears by closing the diaphragm, solvable in post-production but in most cases I do not correct completely as pleasant. Gorgeous Bokeh, soft and not at all nervous. I bought this lens purely for portraits (superlatives). In fact I use this lens for almost 100% of my photographs, including travel and landscape, since I have it in my kit. Of course, it often turns out too often for that purpose. This focal length allows me to shoot in a myriad of situations and for the moment I do not feel the need to pass even to other optics. Only negative note, the weight. For those who travel it may be uncomfortable to take a walk, but it gives such great satisfactions that it is always with me, that it is around some city or for a walk in the mountains! Super recommended in relation also to the price. There is no tropicalization, so for those who have this kind of demanding, look for something else! sent on April 28, 2019 |
![]() | Sony A7 III Pros: High ISO seals, various color profiles, lightness, autofocus, file quality, dynamic range. Cons: Reveable Touch screen. Opinion: I have been using this camera body for over a month. Arrival from Sony a6000 (still very valid but now a little ' limiting for my needs) so it was not a problem switching to the new camera body. According to many menus are complicated and not very intuitive.. In fact with a little ' use you get used and also complicit the countless amount of menus and customizable keys you can have control over any aspect of the camera. Among the various menus there are hundreds of different settings reserved exclusively for those who are familiar in the field. I have read reviews that define it "entry level". Guys, this camera body is all less than entry level. 2500 euros are not a joke for beginners. Defining from beginners a camera that can hardly be found in physical stores seems reductive. However the value for money is very high, I never had the opportunity to try the older sisters A7rIII and A9 but I can assure you that with this camera body you can do almost everything. The only point "disfavour" is the optical park for Sony full frame e-mount still a bit immature. More than anything else the optics that really bring out the best from this camera body have for now prohibitive prices for a knowledgeable/advanced photo enthusiast. sent on September 03, 2018 |
