![]() | Pentax DA HD 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 ED DC WR Pros: All do wr .. HD !!! Min. 16mm distortion is clear from f4 to 85mm from f6 .. not bad x an all done, bright but still authentic colors Cons: Unusual filter diameter, somewhat bulky, no focus distance for night Opinion: I have to say that I did not feel the need for having the 18-135 wr and sigma 17-50 f2.8 years ago but then a friend if it was found in kit and doing only macros and portraits ..gliel'ho I took it practically new to 420 € and for that figure it's great !!!!! I mostly use Fixed Fixed Optics and Zoom on K5 and K5ii both for photoreport and landscape as well as still-life and I have to say that this as ALL DOES is really worth it (it would have been 100mm at f5.6 and 16mm at f2.8 i would have given it The double but I doubt it would have been exactly the same sharpness as this) sent on June 01, 2017 |
![]() | Pentax A SMC 50mm f/2.8 Macro Pros: Very clear on the whole frame already from f2.8 (but I recommend f4 for better depth) light light real colors Cons: Very sensible ring nut almost impossible to use in everyday life Opinion: Be AF would be the top of the range! It records more light than a modern macro 100 so you have to know how to make natural light with reflective panels and be very tired with the flash (which I personally do not use). I'm 50mm a bit limited for the "classic" macro (maybe It's better - A 100 macro f2.8) but great for still life. Of the various pentaxes, for price-quality, I place it under the two smc-A 50 f1.4 and f1.2 just above the FA 50 f1.7 but much higher than any modern pentax 50, including the macro. It is not easy to find it immaculate at a good price, because, despite its 30 years, who does not spring it up. sent on June 01, 2017 |
