![]() | Zeiss ZE/ZF.2 Makro-Planar T* 50mm f/2 Pros: The fact of being there, of existing. A fact for which I feel sincere gratitude to the entire universe. Cons: No cons. Or.. Maybe one yes: it raises the bar of quality so much, that you start to compare all the other 50mm to it. Opinion: One of the most exciting, if not the most exciting, 50mm I've had the chance to use. The construction is ultra premium, tactile orgasm. The very high yield, I would say amazing: deep images, which pull you in, with an almost palpable three-dimensionality. A lens that enhances reality, with which photographs are created in which one would want to look out and turn one's gaze to the right and left, above and below. A lens that is a sort of medium capable of adding dreamlike traits to any type of subject, even the most opaque. The Zeiss brand in one of its best expressions. sent on December 10, 2025 |
![]() | Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/1.4 (C/Y) Pros: Incredible three-dimensionality of the image, ability to make the atmosphere that envelops objects perceived, innate inclination to give poetry and timelessness to the subjects photographed. Cons: Nothing. Ah, who don't do it anymore, mannaggia to them! Opinion: I got to test various 35mm of great quality, but this I find by far the most mind-blowing. An optics that makes you feel the atmosphere, almost the air I would say, that permeates the subjects taken. An optics capable of transferring what you photograph in an out-of-time dimension, returning maximum dignity even to the most banal object. It is the 35mm after which you change the rating on all the other 35mm. sent on November 22, 2020 |
