![]() | Tokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 Pro FX Pros: Sharpness, F2.8, color rendering, construction, price Cons: Flare, weight Opinion: Beautiful optics, very sharp even at TA. The distortion is not particularly annoying and vignetting that is more manageable. The construction and quality of materials is excellent, I consider it a valid alternative "low cost" to the legendary 14-24 nikon. The only flaw is the weight, but given the brightness and focal length I think is inevitable. sent on August 11, 2016 |
![]() | Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC Aspherical Pros: Price, F2.8 Cons: Distortion mustache, drop in quality at the edges Opinion: Tested for 3 weeks. I am not a guru of photography, but honestly this lens has partly disappointed me ... maybe I caught an unfortunate example but I noticed a severe drop in sharpness at the edges of the image, then I made a return. Certainly the price is tempting but I preferred to fall back on tokina 16-28 that cost me the same reperendolo in the used market. Review to take "with pliers" since reading other reviews it seems to be a more than worthy goal. sent on August 11, 2016 |
