![]() | Samyang FE 35mm f/1.8 AF Pros: Weight/size, AF, overall yield, quality/price Cons: The ring that commands the diaphragms does not convince me Opinion: Taken a few months ago to replace the Sigma Art 35 f/1.4 I must say that I was 100% satisfied, aperture aside does not make me regret the beast in anything, the af is better than the Sigma, it is incredibly light, sharp and with a nice blurry. The only defect I found is that, if you wanted to take advantage of the programmable ring, there is a high risk that it will move unintentionally, in the end in fact I use it little. sent on July 26, 2021 |
![]() | Sony FE 50mm f/1.4 ZA Planar T* Pros: Image quality, construction, diaphragm ring Cons: Size and weight Opinion: I've been missing a 50mm focal point for a while, which I really appreciate. I thought I was going crazy and going to the new GM but in the end I was "content" with a used Sony Zeiss and I have to say I can only be satisfied with the choice. Right from the start an excellent feeling has started, fast and precise on both a7iii and a7riii, I like the yield very much, I find it decidedly cinematic, an excellent sharpness and an equally remarkable detachment of the floors. ![]() | Samyang AF 85mm f/1.4 FE/RF Pros: Price quality, low weight, sharpness to f/1.4 Cons: Not perfect light points Opinion: I bought the Samyang for about a month and a half, giving back the Sigma 85 art. The focal is my favorite, in the past I had both the Sony 85 1.8 and, in fact, the Sigma. The Samyang. At the moment I used it in a wedding (on a7iii), family photos and a shoot of a family on holiday in Lucca (about a6300), you can find some photos below and in my galleries. The result has always lived up to expectations, I used it practically always between f/1.4 and f/2 without having any problems of sharpness. The af for my purposes is fast, even in poor light (always used at wide openings though). The bokeh for my taste is nice, just not perfect in the light points, which are less circular than the Sigma Art (however better than the Sony 1.8) In conclusion for my taste and need is the best 85 with FE attack, being out of budget the GM , however, I would recommend the Sony to those who do not need a 1.4 opening, since the quality is similar and the smaller footprints sent on August 27, 2019 |
![]() | Sony FE 85mm f/1.8 Pros: Dimensions and weight, blurry, very sharp already fully open Cons: None Opinion: I have just over a month (on sony a7II) and, as a lover of the focal point, I'm definitely happy with it and I'm using it a lot. rnThe portraits I use almost always at the maximum opening and is already clearly sharp and engraved. The blur I really like, it will not be the best ever but the out of focus I find it always pleasing. In conclusion I'm really happy that Sony has made a goal with these features at a reasonable price and small size sent on November 07, 2017 |
