![]() | Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM Pros: Size; Price; Autofocus; Multifunctional Ring; Sharpness from 2.2 onwards Cons: Sharpness to TA, Absence of the supplied lampshon, Maybe there could have been a stabilization. Opinion: I tried this lens recently with which I replaced the Tamron 45mm 1.8 SP. Then beyond the usual plastic sensation of this fifty I have to say that otherwise it was definitely surprising. Full-opening sharpness is obviously not the top of the top but with a little edit you can bring out results. From 2.2 onwards, however, sharpness becomes excellent and edge resolution is really effective. I think it is, to date, the mile compromised price quality to start using the RF system without constraints of footprint. The slightest difference especially with open diaphragms with the Tamron is cushioned by the size. The 50mm is really small, comfortable and on my Eos R it is really that gem that makes the car light, transportable and with the mirrorless advantages we know. The multifunctional ring is exceptional and allows you to manage compensation very well for example and therefore have total exposure control without having to focus on anything else. In conclusion, it is an excellent lens that will give you many joys for a truly derisory price sent on January 04, 2021 |
![]() | Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM Pros: Sharpness 2.8, weight, construction, commissioning proximity, AF, price. Cons: Lens hood is not provided, not compatible with FF, distortion and vignetting noticeable at close range. Opinion: I just returned from Romics and type the fourth exhibition in which use this lens for my photos and I could not resist review it. The sharpness you do not expect to very contained weight this lens solves a lot of problems for the photos from above from below, in portraiture leaves desired, of course, but for the entire figures or large spaces deserves! very clear already at 2.8 so bright, very well built, the problem is the lens hood is not provided and in any case impractical. I now only use fixed lenses and these also for the street is really convenient. A cheap one brings home a lens that will remain forever in the kit, or at least until you switch to FF sent on April 12, 2016 |
