A cosa serve una grande profondità di campo se non c'è un'adeguata profondità di sentimento? (E. Smith)
La passione per la fotografia è nata sin da giovane ragazzo che guardava spesso quadri e immagini di ogni genere. Mi piace anche il cinema: in questo contesto ho appreso il modo di unire indice e pollice delle due mani trasversalmente per inquadrare una scena. Così ho allenato gli occhi a guardare. Ora cerco di dilettarmi a riprendere scene che in quel momento mi suscitano una emozione. Anche una foglia caduta può essere interessante in quel momento e in quel contesto. Non sono legato ad un tipo di fotografia particolare: mi piace fotografare a colori e in bianco e nero, paesaggi, persone, light painting, sport e per necessità cerimonie (matrimoni, battesimi, cresime, ecc).
