![]() | Samyang 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS Pros: Sharpness, weight, size, micro contrast and three-dimensionality, precise manual focus, excellent value for money Cons: Flare exaggerated in backlight difficult to correct in pp, starry, distortion (easily corrected in pp), purple chromatic aberration (correctable in pp also this). Front cap that does not fix very well. Opinion: Good lens. Great sharpness and colors. Distortion present but easily correctable, ditto the AC. The only "real" problem is the flare really annoying and difficult to correct in pp. Great construction, really solid apart from the really cheap front cap. If you find it used at a good price (as I recommend it)... Rating 8 (only for the flare if also 9) UPDATE FEBBRAIO 2020: the star despite the diaphragm closed to f13 is really horrible in my opinion, you can not distinguish just the rays, I continue to use it waiting to switch to FF completely between some Time... So I recommend it especially for weight and compactness sent on April 17, 2018 |
![]() | Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN C Pros: Sharpness (even at TA), fairly creamy bokeh. Solid construction with metal attachment and light screen. Af precise. Cons: Slightly distorts, no stabilization (for video it can be a problem if you don't have stabilization on the sensor), size, ta aberrations Opinion: Excellent lens for set and street portraits. Quite noticeable distortion especially if you make close-ups (which is obvious because it is still a 30mm). On the a6000 it is slightly unbalanced (not so much for weight, but for generous size). The absence of stabilization is felt if you make videos or taken freehand at night with long times. sent on February 19, 2018 |
![]() | Pentax K-50 Pros: Sensor stabilization, body solidity, ergonomics, pentaprism, double ring for times and diaphragms, sensor, tropicalization, price Cons: Shooting noise, inaccurate evening automatic white balance, weight (although it can be a pro) Opinion: I have been using this Reflex for about two months. Bought for just over 400 euros new on Amazon. Considering the fairly low price you can't find better in any other brand. The noise at the click is due to the fact that many pentax optics do not have an internal engine for autofocus, so they use that of the machine, which consequently causes an annoying noise. Another small problem is the automatic white balance that often fails in the evening, so manual balancing in the evening is preferable. sent on July 27, 2015 |
