![]() | Zenit Helios 44-2 58mm f/2.0 Pros: Construction, weight, size, bokeh, price, sharp Cons: Flare, decline in contrast Opinion: I have this goal for about a year and I use it on nikon d7000. The construction is excellent, completely in metal, embedded front, compact and very lightweight. Using it on nikon loses infinite focus so you can use it simply for portrait or inverted macro. As portraits I have to say that it is a good lens, sharp already at 2.8 but still great even af ??2. It has an unmade blur with its swirly effect and this makes it really great for this type of photo. I recommend the use of a hood because it is very subject to contrast cracks (recoverable without PP problems) and flare. The maf is not too simple on nikon since the distance scale can not be referred to, so you have to rely on the green ball. That is why I find it a goal in which the photo should be studied before it is taken and it is difficult to capture moments of spontaneity (obviously who is more experienced in focusing by hand may not experience this problem). As regards theMacro I have to say that it was a real surprise this lens. Only with an inversion ring can you achieve an excellent playback ratio and with extension tubes you can reach truly amazing magnifications! In short, with a few euros (about 50) you have a great lens for your portrait and with 20 you can have a macro that gives you great satisfaction. To be absolutely and not be scared if you lose the fire to infinity, the lens gives great satisfaction anyway !!! sent on May 07, 2017 |
