Sono nato a Roma nel 1964. Da bambino amavo rifugiarmi nel bosco vicino la mia casa in montagna. Durante i temporali, mi riparavo sotto frasche di un rifugio temporaneo da me costruito; mi sentivo bene, ho sempre amato il contatto con la natura e ho sempre avuto fiducia in lei. Ho praticato lo sci libero e le faticose scalate; gli animali che vedevo in lontananza e la passione sempre più grande per la natura, mi eccitavano. Penso proprio che tutto questo sia stato il filo conduttore che mi ha avvicinato al mondo animale, prima con il bird watching, poi con la fotografia, a cui ho dedicato, negli ultimi anni, tutto il mio tempo libero. La fretta che il nostro modello sociale quotidianamente impone, viene inesorabilmente a mancare ogni volta che osservo i loro comportamenti e i loro ritmi . La ricerca e lo studio del carattere degli animali mi consente inoltre una maggiore comprensione nei loro confronti e crea una relazione simbiotica con ciò che mi circonda: per eterni istanti, entro anch'io a far parte di quel mondo che i miei antenati ben conoscevano. Le mie foto vogliono essere solo un atto d'amore per la natura.
