For my kind of photos I managed to get away with even with only 9 AF points (I usually keep only the central one active and then I recompose) but it is still a great limit especially if you want to take sports or naturalistic photography. It doesn't hold up very high iso, but even that's a limit that goes based on the type of photo you want to take. Bought new on offer at 500, I would definitely buy it back!
