![]() | Sony RX100 Pros: Size, sensor 1 ", image quality, excellent raw, f1.8 at wide angle, made at high ISO, dynamic range. Cons: no viewfinder, inability to take the screen off, ergonomics Opinion: The Sony RX100 is a compact phenomenal. Great alternative to the SLR in the outputs "read" and in the street. At first I was undecided whether to take this or the Fujifilm X30. The choice fell on the Sony because it has a larger sensor, more megapixels, it is pocket-sized, much better performance at high ISO and best dynamic range. The only "against", for me, are: - Ergonomics is really small and it's very smooth. Consequently has a very low grip, especially for those who like myself I have great hands. (There is the possibility of buying a separate hand grip to apply. I purchased it and is very good). - Viewfinder / Display: unfortunately this first version has no viewfinder, and you can shoot just observing the scene from the screen. Consequently you can not turn off the screen. This factor could be a problem for situations in which you want to maintain maximum discretion in the street. sent on February 06, 2016 |
