![]() | Fujifilm X-T1 Pros: Sensor, jpg, aesthetics. Cons: Build quality Opinion: I took the XT1 to use with old Zeiss lenses. Then I saw the magnificent files he produced and I built a small kit. With the 27 it becomes almost pocket-sized and is a fantastic combination to do a little bit of everything. The colors it produces are beautiful, it is pleasant to use the film simulations that allow you to avoid the RAW pp or to do it directly in the camera (it is the biggest miss I feel with the Sony). Up to 3200 ISO holds up very well, but I also use it at higher ISOs, without problems. AF that suffers from the years, but allows you to do almost everything, except sports and avi, I use it as always in AF-S (the continuous is quite slow). The biggest flaw is the build quality, in particular the tires that come unglued and wear out: a shame because aesthetically it is beautiful with its rings. Unfortunately, she is also affected, an old woman, by the upward race in the prices of the ML Fuji and today she finds herself at rather high prices. When I got it, I paid less than €300 used in excellent condition. If you find it bargain, take it! sent on January 28, 2025 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 18-55 f/2.8-4R LM OIS Pros: Quality of materials, sharpness, excellent brightness for a kit lens Cons: None for the cost and type of goal Opinion: Excellent goal, in my opinion the best among those supplied in kits by the various brands. It is sharp and allows you to take home great shots. Also perfect for getting around with a single lens. AF more than good, always accurate in the single with X-T1. I've never tried it all the time. Taken used at 270€, it is very good value for money. Advised! sent on June 03, 2022 |
![]() | Sony FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Vario Tessar T* Pros: Construction, Stabilization, Colors, Sharpness, Size and Weight. Cons: Painting Opinion: Bought used as new on Amazon at just over 500 euros, it was a significant step up from the 28-70 kit (despite my copy not being so bad in terms of sharpness). The colors are bright and saturated (not turned off as on the 28-70) and the image is really well defined and sharp at all focal points (maybe it loses something at 70mm f4). Good stabilization that allows you to shoot at really slow times (and on my A7 is a nice help). I really like the overall construction and the feeling of robustness of the barrel even if it tends to scratch easily (I pay close attention both in use and in storing it in the backpack). For the rest I am really satisfied with the purchase and the price paid, I would say that the price-performance ratio is from 10. sent on November 06, 2019 |
![]() | Samyang AF 24mm f/2.8 FE Pros: Price, weight Cons: Sharpness Opinion: I tried this lens for twenty shots and I have to say that I was expecting something better from the point of view of sharpness. Tested from 2.8 to 5.6 and at the corners I never seemed really sharp, good (but not excellent) in the middle. Good resistance to flare and backlighting. Less saturated colors than the 14 f2.8. To review. For now I vote 8. sent on August 03, 2018 |
![]() | Canon EOS M Pros: Compact, sensor, touch monitor, economical Cons: AF not very fast even with native lenses, viewfinder lack, limited remote control (IR only), WiFi absence, fixed monitor, battery life Opinion: Taken under cost more than two years ago at a ridiculous price (€200 in kits with the excellent 22 F2, Speedlite and adapter ring for EF lenses), I always provided good shots, especially with the 22 and the Sigma 17-50. The machine is compact but not very light (with 22, Lens hood and filter you get to half a kilo) I took it to have a car to carry always with me. I thought I would leave her like this and then, given the files she churns out, I decided to buy other lenses to complete the kit. In general I am more than satisfied, especially the rendering of colors. Good seal on the ISO, even shooting at 1600 (sometimes 3200 but at most for a A4 print) You can take home the shot. The biggest deficiencies are the battery (for a day you need at least 3, I use the patoa that have a duration less than the original expensive), the absence of the optical viewfinder also as an option (combined with the fact that the monitor is fixed) and the limited remote control ( Only through the IR remote control). I think I update it to the M50 not so much for the quality of the photos but to cope with the shortcomings just listed. Rated 8.5 sent on June 26, 2018 |
![]() | Sony SLT A58 Pros: Build quality above average and manageability, functionality, performance for an entry-level camera, excellent battery life, 15 points MF, excellent electronic viewfinder Cons: AF not very fast and not always accurate, embarrassing LCD screen, burst in RAW because of the limited buffer. Opinion: It 'a good car to start, as a better quality of canon entry and on par with Nikon. Well kept the ISO up to 1600, in addition you have to work at pp. The main problem are perhaps the optical available that are less than the Canon / Nikon and more expensive, even for the brands compatible and consequently even less in used choice. sent on January 30, 2017 |
