![]() | Sony A7C R Pros: Size (you can always carry it with you), resolution, af supported by a dedicated AI processor. Excellent photos even in automatic mode. Cons: 1 SD card slot only; reduced burst; you cannot use the electronic shutter if you use the flash; uncomfortable viewfinder, when using it you have to squeeze your nose on the monitor Opinion: Perfect photos, so much so that you can even avoid post-producing in most cases. Not the best gust, so you may have some difficulty in the case of sports photos. Understandable menu, unlike the "old" Sony. Very interesting is the possibility of using the touch screen for AF tracking (focusing by touching the subject to be focused on the screen) and the possibility of shooting or filming directly from the screen sent on September 20, 2024 |

![]() | Nikon Z9 Pros: Fast and accurate af in good light conditions Cons: Af not very quick in low light; High noise even at low ISO in low light Opinion: I have the Z9 for too little time to make a final judgment; I can only say that having both the Z9 and the D850, I could compare them with the same parameters and the same lens; FIRST SHOT at ISO 64 - F7.1 - 1/125sec with NIKKOR Micro 105 lens and external flash: Slightly higher as definition the Z9. SECOND SHOT at ISO 100 - F7.1 - 1/125sec with NIKKOR Micro 105 lens and external flash: evident superiority of the D850 both in terms of definition and reduced video noise in shadow areas compared to the Z9; I would say that at the moment, using the Z9 more for portraits and non-sporting events (for which Af speed and quick tracking is not critical), I am quite disappointed with the Z9; I hope for firmware updates that improve the Z9... In a few months I hope to be able to post an in-depth review, after having verified the characteristics for longer. sent on February 21, 2023 |
