canon_rf28-70_f2usmCanon RF 28-70mm f/2 L USM

Pros: Show, for now, just a few days after the purchase...

Cons: Weight and focal ring...

Opinion: Don't tell me that this lens has no flaws, because that's absolutely not true. Let's start with the weight, as soon as you take it out of the box you will notice it, indeed while you are taking it out you will already start to wonder, but there is a concrete block hanging from it... However, we can get over the weight given the quality of the optics, so it can be okay. However, it unbalances the forward weight a lot if mounted on a small body like my R6ii, we will see later on R5. But the thing that is most unpleasant to me is the focal ring, too close to the camera body and therefore my hands touch each other when I go to full scale! For now, we'll see over time any updates...

canon_eos_r6Canon EOS R6

Pros: Autofocus, General speed, Old lens compatibility, quiet, dynamic range, iso

Cons: ergonomics, button and dial customization, button position, battery life, heavy lens balance, etc. etc...

Opinion: I only list the things I don't like, since we all know the positive qualities. I thought that by switching to the R6 from the 5D4 I would find the same ergonomics and the same functionality of the old buttons and dials and instead exactly this was not the case. 1- I just can't stand the slippery SD door for opening, why didn't they do it rubberized like the rest of the handle? 2- I can't stand the impossibility of choosing which function to give to some buttons that are useless for me, such as that of the RATE, I would gladly put the PLAY button, the same thing for some rings to which I would completely change the function. 3- Ergonomics, especially with the ADAPTER mounted EF, it unbalances the weight too much, I partially solved with a plate to be hooked under the base. 4- The viewfinder, especially in low light, is not that it is really great. In the two Fuji that I have all this does not happen. 5- Is it possible that when an SD card is saturated you only warn me when I no longer have even one shot available? It's not just Canon's this problem but it would be time for them to fix it!! 6- A few more Mpixels would not hurt anyone! That said, I don't consider it the worthy heir to 5DIV, I'll probably keep it until what I want comes out of Canon.
