![]() | Nikon D850 Pros: Sensor, ergonomics, performance, versatility Cons: Nothing Opinion: Bought new in October 2021, at a price even lower than what is sold today used, and with an extra two years warranty! What can I say, I made a great investment. Having no need to switch to the mirrorless world or to another model or brand, I believe that this will remain the faithful companion for the rest of my "career" as an amateur photographer. I won't go into the technical specifications and details of the performances, they have already been abundantly described by much more competent people. Aware of having a high-performance object in your hand, it is necessary to combine optics of equal prestige, the risk is to highlight the limits of low cost lenses and to have to waste time in pp to correct them, and as far as possible. I also own D500 and D810, other high quality and performance cameras, often, in order not to carry both having to try my hand at both sports and landscape photos, I use the D850 because it fulfills their respective peculiarities in an excellent way. Only those who work in the professional field and work there on a daily basis could highlight "gaps" even if I don't think they are of significant importance. I see that many professionals are still working, even with pleasant amazement at the excellent results, with the D700 and D800 and bringing home the work. For me, after the D850 there is only A.I......... or the end of "Photography" sent on May 21, 2024 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix LX100 Pros: It's a compact, but .... Cons: .... but it's a compact one. Opinion: Let's talk about it, we compare it with a FF with a 24-75 f1.7 / 2.8 (which does not exist ...) ?? It would go away, it seems obvious.rn Let's treat it for what it is, that is, a compact one. rnCompact ..... rnI carry with me, I can put it in my pocket (maybe the jacket, in the pants would want to do the phenomenon ....... I'll explain it ?? !!), I pull it out when I need it and click. Snap with a Leica obj (the same as the compact D-Lux Leica that costs double ....... 2x as the "crop"). I can fit screw filters, maybe an ND1000 to have fun with water and clouds ... with more than good results (remember, it's not a FF ...!). I also screwed up a hood to prevent the flare (however never seen) on which I screwed a filter and onto which I put the cap. Just like a reflex (FF this time!). I have a menu, too rich too, which allows me to configure the toy as I believe best. I have a burst of shiver to make the D7100 shiver (which I have, but that does not make me shiver, but that's another thing ... ;-)). Completelymanual but also fully automatic, shutter speeds up to 120 seconds (sissignori, tried in person!), obviously the files that come out are almost inguardable, because of the chrominance noise (and that is ... ??! ) is inevitable with long times, but it also has the reflexes ..... rnIso from 100 to 25600 (but stop a little earlier, it's better ..... it's a compact), workable up to 1600, then it's work from expert manipulators who would "" get out "" great b / n.rnVideo 4k for field enthusiasts. I used it for mountain views by making more photos then joined with lightroom .... exceptional files ...... no from the exaggerated .... fantastic! Beautiful details, nice colors, has the brightest electronic viewfinder, has the brightest display especially in displaying what you are about to shoot at night (make a confrontation with other compact and will astonish you ...), the accident is not touch .... ..this better smartphone definitely !, it is not orientable though I have &%2339 application that allows me to handle it even if I put it on the ground to shoot from below (but then even the D810, for example, is bad for this reason ...... !!! ??). 4/3 sensor, ok is not FF and not even aps-c, but not as big as an eaten nail !! And it has "only" 12 megapixels, so no gigantographs, just 30x40! The flash on the sled gives me a touch of class, though I use it a little. Battery more than enough, for what ??, four hours video at 4k ?? ..... then no, better one spare (but also memory sd)! RnInsomma (with uppercase I), great compact. rnAh! ..... I forgot, if you are looking for a super zoom to photograph the clothes hangers in the balcony of Mrs Maria who lives 100 meters from your home, stay here ... this compact will disappoint you, and even Mrs. Maria . sent on October 03, 2017 |
![]() | Manfrotto zaino Off road 30L (MB OR-BP-30GY) Pros: Well done, many spaces and external pockets for various objects and compact but more than enough for a day of hiking photo. Cons: I would not know. Opinion: Great for trekking photo of the day. Externally there are various spaces and useful pockets for objects that would otherwise be scattered in disorder inside the backpack. The compartment, removable, for the photographic material allows to carry, for example, my D7100 with bg and 18-300 inserted, a 8-16 sigma and a 105 macro. If desired, you can hold the camera body and the outside 18-300 and 70-200 add a 2.8 tamron, among other things there is a webbing at chest height for anchoring the machine body with the obj without this weights on the neck and wobbling during the trekking. The back is rigid and well separated from the back to be able to ventilate and not sweat too much. The compartment for the spare parts is more than enough for t-shirt, sweatshirt, socks, a nice paninone salami and also a water bottle but for the most fastidious there is still some space for other small items. Two tapes on the lower part also permit the conveyance of a tripod of medium size. Finally there is a lot to cover in case of rain. Thetwo rooms are internally connected via a zipper turning to all effects in a large backpack good for only trekking. rnAd each way on the site of the Manfrotto is the video that shows the various features. rnPersonalmente am very satisfied. sent on July 25, 2015 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S DX 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR Pros: Sharpness in the center, blurred, robustness, versatility, af fast and quiet considering the midrange. Cons: Loss of definition at the edges and the focal limit to TA and TC. Only body APSC. Opinion: Purchased in place of the various kit 18-105 or 18-140 I must say that, as a handyman and optics as the beginning for those who want to try their hand in various fields of photography in general, without buying ($$$) specific targets blindly, is more than a great compromesso.rnLo use in 80% of the time and can give me back shots that do not seem the result of compromises with definition, sharpness, color rendition, contrast. Quite the contrary! RnUtilizzato with Nikon D7100, in my case, you have a telephoto 450mm, usable for sports photos and some photos naturalistic. Do not go into the details of construction or defects linked to aberrations, distortion, etc., However, because all solvable more than sufficiently in pp. However for the zoom range that could not not have them. rnIl weight personally I have no problem. rnLo advice to those who want to experience like me without fainting immediately with most optical, expensive and heavy. I do not know his brother 3.5-6.3, but honestly for several tens of Euros of difference, I prefer a 5.6 to 300m and 9-blade diaphragm that a 6.3 and7 lamelle.rn sent on January 14, 2015 |
