![]() | Sony A7r III Pros: Great Cons: Nothing, much better than previous series Opinion: I've had this car for about a month, taking a few shots, and I have to say I'm very happy with the results. I was really sick of the very heavy SLRs that I was convinced were immortal, but here we are on a different planet. Starting with size and weight. Of course it's a judgment of an evolved, unprofessional, photoamer, but I think there's a majority of these pages. Beautiful images, hard to make comparisons. Excellent dynamic range. The menu, much criticized, is just different from the others. sent on January 04, 2021 |
![]() | Sony FE 20mm f/1.8 G Pros: Construction, resolution, dimensions. Cons: For me nothing Opinion: Excellent wide angle, excellent resolution even at the edges and larger openings. Contained vignetting and no distortion. Plastic construction, but of excellent quality. Diaphragm ring with declick. Very realistic and full colors. Low weight and excellent ergonomics. I think it's a good buy, especially with Sony cashback. sent on January 04, 2021 |
![]() | Sony A7 II Pros: Weight, resolution, ease of settings, complete system and excellent optics. Cons: Nothing special, usual poor battery life. Opinion: I've had this car for about four months and I have to say I'm really happy. I come from the Nikon world and I couldn't take any more of heavy, bulky, expensive machines. The mirroless world is now a well-established reality, and also well. I take pictures especially of trips, so I don't need a lightning bolt for focus, or very fast bursts. For what it costs today, it's definitely the best value for money. Since the battery life is what it is, you just need to have a few spares and the problem does not exist.
