![]() | Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Pros: Sharpness at maximum aperture and incredible blurry! Cons: Unfortunately my model suffered from a slight front/back focus, but after a recalibration with a special base it became perfect. Opinion: I've been shooting for twenty years now, I started with Nikon and shortly after I switched to Canon, I tried hundreds of lenses and in all these years I have always wondered: Why buy a lens with an aperture of 1.2 / 1.4 / 1.8 if at that aperture they usually do not have a good sharpness ? The blurred is very important on these optics and in my opinion it must be "creamy", but if the subject is not clear what sense does it have ?!? Here, with the 135mm 1.8 Sigma you have a beautiful blur and an incredible sharpness, who says it is not sharp maybe has a vision problem :-) or front / back focus, also because reading online I discovered that many have encountered this problem on this lens, but once properly calibrated is an impressive lens, I have never used a lens that at maximum aperture was so sharp and I challenge you to find another that is as sharp as this, however, even closing the aperture the sharpness remains Excellent! Expensive product, heavy, but unique in its kind, in my opinion it is the best optics I have ever used. sent on April 26, 2022 |
