![]() | Sigma AF 300mm f/4 APO HSM Pros: Construction materials, ease of use, compatibility (see description), ratio 1: 3, sliding lens hood Cons: Compatibility (see description), AF slow (version HSM) Opinion: I have a version of HSM, purchased mainly for some proof of birdlife or your use macro, the problem that I highlight in a greater compatibility, a bit 'special, with my 5Dmk2 with fw 2.1.2 works in full, in all the openings, even with multiplier (Sigma 1.4x) ... but with my 60d with or without multiplier (Sigma 1.4x) only works to F4 .... For the rest, AF except that if not used only the central point of MAF is in crisis ... what solved with the use of the imitator ... LA My copy does not present defects front / back focus and the image quality is very good for me ... I exploit the full already F4 .... for € 150 that I paid used I think I'll keep it as long as the field .... sent on December 06, 2014 |
![]() | Sigma 1.4x EX DG Pros: Price, value to be used, quality and automation maintained Cons: if we want to find backward compatibility, but not with all the bodies .... Opinion: I have this multiplier to un'annetto around and use it with most of my paintings, and Sigma 70-200 L canon 300 F4 Apo HSM. tried both on 5Dmk2 that of 60d, allows you to do things (though not with the same quality) for which you'd need to super telephoto ... for people like me do not need optical tropicalized hs is a must have ... Also in bag when you go hiking or photographic walks in the woods and countryside .... sent on December 06, 2014 |
