![]() | Sigma 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6 DC Pros: Good for all, compact, sturdy feel, lock button in the wide angle position, excellent price / performance. Cons: Loss of sharpness and deformations at the edges, little light, lack of stabilization. Opinion: I bought it along with my first (and only for now) digital SLR, the Nikon D300, and I must say that overall I am satisfied, as I said in the pros and cons, it is a lens that is good for all circumstances views zoom range and solves almost every possible situation. I find it a good focus, rather fast and a few times by signs of uncertainty. In low light, feels the lack of a stabilization system so not suitable for shooting sports, but if the light is sufficient, and it is well stabilized fails to return some good shots. To the downside, that is what I wrote in contrast, especially deforms the edges but in landscapes and given the very low cost, especially as used in perfect condition, if it makes them easily forgive. You can pretty much get away with just this light without feeling the lack of a more sustained kit. sent on February 10, 2015 |
