![]() | Olympus OM-D E-M1 Pros: Compact size, build quality, advanced customization options, excellent viewfinder, image quality, optical vast park and the possibility of using virtually all commercially available optical adapters. Cons: High price even though in line with what is offered, Battery life a few hundred shots, mandated to print yourself the complete manual. Opinion: I state that I come from decades of experience shooting on film and I have had very positive experiences with previous use for almost two years to another machine m4 / 3 for fine arts projects in b / w with the use of lenses vintage manual focus. I've had it for several months, the OM-D E-M5 which I served as a testbed with a view to a possible upgrade to the E-M1, and the advanced versatility of use combined with high quality optical sensor and fixed me won and did not take the decision to buy the latest addition to the Olympus. What I appreciate most is the presence of features really advanced and targeted for professional use, in a "package" so compact that I always carry with me in a small shoulder bag along with another lens, spare battery, memory cards and the classic treppiedino pocket, thus allowing me more freedom, especially during the frequent motorcycle trips between the countries of the Tuscan countryside. The first two months of use I do not regret the expense - anthat because for me the possibility to use again my dear objectives Olympus OM, Pentacon and Jupiter is priceless ... sent on December 06, 2013 |
